Umm, yah, we all saw that Benavidez took control and was the better fighter.

That kd, although technically one, was caused by foot entanglement and Morrell catching David's shoulder while he was off balance. I was there. At no point watching it live or on that big screen did it show Morrell connect with Benavidez' face/head.
Benavidez was t domina t throughout. Morrell had no answer but to cover up. It's funny that people complain that Benavidez did have any power, yet by the 7th, Morrell eye was puffy and eventually cut, while bleeding/spitting blood. David did everything he said he was gonna be mi us the KO.
haters still gonna hate but ginger will continue to be their god and a ducking coward.

Monster should be the one that knocks out everybody or almost everybody he fights.

        Beterbiev for example.

Benavidez is no monster. He is just a high skilled pressure volume puncher. His work rate is great.

Plant went distance with this guy. A monster. Jesus.

Worsell gets carried away with his writing.
          Too verbose.
          Tends to be hyperbolic.

Benavidez didn’t “march forward with no consideration of defense.” I thought his defense was actually pretty decent last night.

Let's not give him knighthood just yet. Benavidez gave a good account of himself yesterday and more importantly he improved since his last fight at 175 where he really struggled with his stamina in the second half of the fight against Gvozdyk. Yesterday, he was strong and accurate and his defense was excellent, but at the same time Morrell showed us that Benavidez is no monster and that he can be hurt when the punches land cleanly. I would love to watch Benavidez vs Beterbiev - it would be an absolute war for as long as it lasted.

Let's not get over ourselves here... The only thing Benavidez is not @ LHW is a Monster ...

Beterbiev would walk through Benavidez easily i think...

Benavidez would be on the back foot after 30 seconds into round 1.

Most likely, but let's not forget that Gvozdyk managed to do quite well against Beterbiev for the first half of the fight. He managed to push him back and he was even ahead on points one or two rounds before the stoppage. Benavidez is a live dog in that fight but I feel that Beterbiev would overpower him eventually.
