He won 3 rounds plus the knockdown. (the point deduction was ridiculous)

No real power is funny. There's a reason the big puncher refused to throw more and it's not cause Benavidez is some light puncher. He dominated the cubano Olympian. NOBODY had done that either. By the 10th round Morrell was welted up and spittin blood. 8-4 was the correct score.

Him vs Beterbiev would be fun af and look forward to it. I think Benavidez outworks Bivol

Injury-free camp, meaning he got the right amount of sparring this time and was in good condition.

Lmfao....8/4 was easy to score. The big puncher didn't adjust cause he was getting combo's constantly. Ref didn't chip in, he literally had his arm around Benavidez when the bell rang. Was there live. There was a good pause before Morrel hit Benavidez. Even the cubanos behind me said it was late.

Perhaps I worded it badly. Quite clearly he has power but it is not a coincidence that both fights at 175 went the distance. His power at 175 is not as damaging as it was at 168.

Yeah, I’m thinking Heredia special conditioning too

Same can be said about Morrell. I expected his power to move up to 175. Benavidez has never been a power guy, more accumulation damage, which he still does. Morrells face showed that

                    And the new....interim regular champ!?!?!

This needs to stop now. That was a great boxing after dark fight, two undefeated guys with no belts. It was a good fight, but 80 dollars is a trash price point. Whole broadcast praising them for finally risking their 0s at almost 30yrs old. Gtfoh

Don't get me started on the wba regular belt popping back up...I see a lot of hate on the ibfthe for following real established rules lmao wba needs to stop being recognized as a real title with the wbc not far behind. You dont see the other two orgs with interim champs while the real champs are actively fighting, sometimes within weeks of each other. It's so out of control.
