My guess is they'll have a double feature to showcase both Canelo and Bud together giving them both more accolades. They'll have Canelo fight Skull to bring all of the belts back together as this was one of the reasons that attracted Bud to Canelo to begin with and they might have Bud move to capture a belt at 160 on his way up to make him a five division champion and give his body time to adjust to a higher weight. There are several paper champions at 160 Bud would likely not have much trouble with and then they'll bring them together for all of the marbles at 168 in September.

      My thought exactly...

Lara VS Bud for the Middleweight Title!
      Make it happen Turki!

Canelo vs Scull for the last belt and Crawford vs Lara for a middleweight belt (on his way up to Super Middleweight)? The latter is probably wishful thinking. Lara is still dangerous, but who else could Crawford fight if the Canelo fight isn't happening until September? It's a tricky one. Funnily enough, the ideal 160lbs fight he could have had - and one he would almost certainly win - is Eubank, but he's otherwise engaged now. He could fight some no-hoper at 160lbs or 168lbs to stay active, but that's not Bud's style. I'm intrigued how all of this is going to work out. It also seems implausible that Turki would put on a show in New York on 2 May and a show in Vegas on 3 May - although stranger things have happened and he certainly has the money to make the implausible, plausible, so I guess we'll see.

It would seem that other boxing sites already have an inside info on Canelo and Bud for September 13. I can never understand it - Boxing News 24 always seems to have news stories 2 to 3 days ahead of Boxing Scene. At the same time their stories are so lame and biased, it seems almost like every story is written by the same 10 year old, even though different names are supposedly assigned to stories.

Really puzzling. They get the inside scoop quickly, but then their commentary is so unprofessional and so biased that I stopped reading it some time ago. Perhaps the owner gets the stories from other sites and then edits them completely to his own liking based on which fighters he likes and which ones he hates.

This makes sense and it sounds about right with the exception if they planing matching Bud with Lara the cuban aint no paper champion ,he still very much a treat imo, matter of fact, both Lara and Scull have tricky styles so is not going to be that easy for either guy.

Social media and youtube then boxing 24 got the newest news. But you have to deal with drama, Bias, lack of knowledge by their followers and cult followers. Boxingscene is mors clean and professional over all. I think of boxingscene like espn boxing web page back in the mid 2000s before they made you sign in with Facebook.

I would watch it and many others would too it just will not prepare him for canelo. He needs a strong come forward fighter to use as a measurement stick for canelo.
