That stoppage looked like, he wished he'd stopped it when Steed went down. He didn't. He took the first opportunity to stop it afterwards. That definitely looked like a premature stoppage.

Definitely a bad stoppage.
Not saying it wouldn't have happened soon after but that was not the right time.

My first reaction when the fight was stopped was to think why is the referee separating the fighters.

Replay showed Woodall was throwing back as the referee jumped in, he had every right to be pissed off.

Definate too early & the ref needs to be called into face the music at the next BBBofC meeting. Simpson/Jeffers should be next in a classic war of the roses bash!!.....
