    Great read
I remember the contender like it was yesterday
The Latin Snake had no chance so to say compared to Brinkley and Smith but came out of that with his F150 and so proud
Good on him and not a bad guy to say the least

I like Sergio and defend his DAZN work on these pages from those who throw shade on him. Maybe because I watched that first season of The Contender and rooted for Mora from the start as the outsider/underdog.
Good work, Sergio, keep the faith. DAZN is better for having you on the team!

You need to remember Canelo beats Crawford bozo. You talked all that mess and you’re the biggest bozo on here . Your little man crushes on the contender series and your opinion still doesn’t matter after 20000 posts

I remember watching the show as a kid in the cold, dark united kingdom.

I liked Sergio, he seemed a humble and intelligent guy, I remember that Peter Manfredo seemed to be the one they wanted to win, so much so they even brought him back in after he lost to Alfonso Gomez. They did this again later with obviously wanting Jaidon Codringron to win one of the later series only for Sakio Bika who was probably the last person they wanted winning it lol.

Manfredo later got a completely unearned shot against Joe Calzaghe mostly based on name recognition from the Contender.

The contender was a good reality show, It went downhill after the first season as Sylvester Stallone wasn't in it anymore and he bought star power to the show,

Loved first The Contender even with the bad editing of the actual fights.

But yeah, Sergio is the man , super cool guy.

I saw him at a club at Ceasar's Palace after Margarito/Cotto I .. I said what's up and asked him about the fight; he was all hyped up that I asked and he gave me his thoughts. it was just such an epic fight that all the good feelings were going around. He bought a round of Hennessy's for me and 2 of my buddies , then we bought the next for him. He likes the sistas, andthey liked him too. Although i thought he was married but i didnt ask LOL

Then I saw him again in LA in Torrance or something - it was after he broke his ankle in the Jacobs fight, he had a cast on. Again, he was the same way, really approachable.

It’s so funny how easy your pantyhose gets up in a bunch . I can say anything . You a joke . Crawford is a lightweight. He has a smaller frame . If he was bigger he would be fighting the big boys . Not begging for his retirement match with Canelo. Canelo makes the decision. Not you not him unfortunately. Do you understand??? The better fighter moves the needle papito
