Eddie promised Boots big fights when he signed. So far, he hasn't attempted to make any. Eddie always promises gold, them delivers sand. This is nothing new. He did the same with Demetrius Andrade and Tevin Farmer.

Boots vs. Benn would be a logical fight to make, but Eddie still has wet dreams about Benn vs. Eubank Jr. Benn has called out Boots three times already. Not a peep from Boots or Bozy. Boots won't be fighting anyone even remotely dangerous. He's content fondling his 147 lb. e-mail belt at night. A certain pundit/trainer with a mailbag every Saturday will tell you that Boots is the greatest thing since Sugar Ray Robinson or the electric nose hair trimmer. Most intelligent fans now know the truth ~ it was illustrated in his last fight, a rematch in which he struggled with Karen Chukhadzian. Again.

Why didn't Eddie sweeten the pot and pony up the extra $500k? Why won't Eddie even attempt to make Boots vs. Benn? Ask the right questions and you will get revealing answers.

Truthfully neither one wanted to really take the risk otherwise we would already have this fight. Norman Jr. Seems to think he's a multi-million dollar fighter already when he's really only known to the more educated fan, not by casuals, which is a requirement for that kind of money outside of Riyadh. Ennis also could have forced eddy to up the offer a bit but he was probably happy to hear Norman Jr turned it down and didn't argue the decision to not up the offer. Both deserve the blame.

Why would Hearn up the offer, though? Brian Norman only just came on the scene and isn’t in a position to be pricing himself out.

Eddie has to make the Stanionis fight happen though! You can't turn down Vergil Ortiz Jr., and Teofimo Lopez, and follow that up with a nobody! Stanionis is the BEST available fighter @ 147! I don't understand why Stanionis vs. Barrios has not happened? Major failure on the part of PBC!

That's cute...usually I'm all for a guy pricing himself being a ducker but he didn't ask for 5 mil, or even 3 mil. He asked for 2 when offered 1. MR has the money and if they truly believed in Bootsy, they should've upped it

After ducking Vergil Ortiz and not taking a Teofimo Lopez fight you need to come strong and make Stanionis an offer.
                  Yeah!

Personally, I don't believe that Jaron "Boots" Ennis is serious about becoming the Undisputed Welterweight champion of the world. If he does then he has a damn way of proving it by signing with Matchroom Sport.

Currently, Matchroom doesn't hold any major title belts at the 147 lbs division. If he and Bozy Ennis was really serious about unifying the titles; Then they would have signed with the PBC and Al Haymon.

Since they hold most of the cards and belts at the welterweight division.
