....and we're back to this point, again-- a bunch of champions that won't fight one another. Boots seemingly isn't fully vested because he's willing to sell out to run to 154 for a fight. There's still whispers of a 45-year old Pacquiao distracting Barrios with a payday.

Norman smoked Santillan and made us forget about those 3 eggs he laid before that. And Stanionis has the worst luck in the world due to inactivity and the shenanigans attached to it.

    Just wow....

Pitiful division. No one is desperate enough to unify. They all want fast money.
Winning and gaining more belts which go with more money later is not even a strong motivation.

Currently, Matchroom doesn't hold any major title belts at the 147 lbs division. If he and Bozy Ennis was really serious about unifying the titles; Then they would have signed with the PBC and Al Haymon.

Since they hold most of the cards and belts at the welterweight division.

Reportedly Norman accepted the fight and called Bozy, and Bozy told Norman Sr "we're not trying to fight you right now, we want to save that for undisputed." So who, exactly, is ducking?

Ennis is the one with a long history of avoiding big fights, which is why he's got so few ranked opponents on his resume. Let's see which of the 147 champs actually unifies first. Ennis even said no to Teo.

extra 500k - probably because Eddy is in the business of making money - not losing it. Boots-Benn? - because there's far more money in Benn - Eubank.

PBC is dormant - for whatever reason. Signing with them means nothing. Barrios vs Stanionis hasn't happened. Lara vs Adames at 160? Some fighters have left PBC because they're not active enough for their own liking - others are content to fight once every 18 months for a decent payday

Benn-Eubank would be a joke anywhere but in the UK where must fans ringside are totally sloshed by the main event. Benn will never fight anyone with a pulse. Eubank Jr. is still hoping to suck off Canelo for a bag. Both are quite sad and a stain on UK boxing. It's sad that UK boxing went from Jim Watt and Carl Froch to this.

Doesn’t really matter if it’s a joke It’ll fill a stadium and generate massive ppv. It’s a business. Been to many fights in the uk have you? our fans are the envy of the world. Just because US fans sits sit quietly and clap whilst ours show some passion. Got nothing to do with alcohol, we do it for all our sports.

Jim Watt was 40 years ago you buffoon. How many Americans are in the current heavyweight top 10 right now? if the welterweight division is stagnating it’s due to the same US promoter protectionism that is also allowing the Sheik to completely dismantle that business model so elegantly for them by making fights people want to see and by paying fighters properly.

Buy hey, it’s easier to be a bigoted xenophobe.

Well perhaps you have a point. However, it still doesn’t make much sense for his team to sign with Matchroom.

If it would have been Hell for him to unify the welterweight titles with the PBC. Then what advantages does he has of unifying them now?

Since none of the major American promoters like to do business with Eddie Hearn; Especially Al Haymon.

Jim Watt would be turning over in his grave if he saw the state of UK boxing now. You guys are sadly reduced to Fury running out of drug money or AJ feeling froggy once more. Boxing in general is sad, but what's more sad is how you lads in the UK clap like trained seals for any carnival show offered up by Fast Eddie or Frank. Have a little more self-respect, it is that asking too much?

Hanging your hat on Eubank Jr. Conor The Drug Cheat is about as pathetic as can be. It really is.
