What part of this very basic line of thinking are you struggling to grasp?

It was a competitive fight, Usyk deserved the win for me. But 116-112 across the board seems a bit wide, and a list of people in boxing share the exact same sentiment.

But again, which rounds do they actually disagree with?

I agree that, given the general flow of the fight the cards seem wide. Or feel wide. But round by round, which rounds should have (not could have) gone to Fury?

I think if you go and watch and score it round by round then you'll come up with wide cards.

In theory a very competitive fight could be 12-0. The cards aren't intended to show how competitive a fight was overall. They just show who won the rounds.

USYK won by a larger margin... I was heartbroken to see fury so heavy and he lost a few more swing rounds where he was just too inactive.

USYK out hustled and took some close rounds. Giving him two or three rounds seemed right.

I scored it 7-5 Usyk on second watch,

Don't even disagree with the 8-4 card for Usyk, I just think all 3 being 8-4 was wide.

I agree with the sentiment totally it's why so many people scream robbery for a fight because they scored it wide for one of the fighters despite it being an either way fight.

I think alot of the rounds were close in this fight, Usyk won it be closing out the last few rounds as he always does.

116 - 112 Usyk close rounds, but all edged by the clear winner. Not at all a difficult fight to score if you have the slightest clue of what you are talking about.

Agreed…this fight definitely felt CLOSER than the first fight due to the absence of knockdowns or either fighter getting badly wobbled. Also, unlike the first fight, Fury wasn’t getting constantly backed up and stood his ground in the centre of the ring for most of the fight.

I scored it 115-113 for Usyk but couldn’t really argue with 116-112 either. However, it definitely WASN’T any wider than that. In fact, this fight was so close that even one scorecard in favour of Fury would’ve been wrong but definitely NOT as outrageous as the first fight.
