    Same as last time.

Same as most boxing games thought before this rivalry started.

Fury v Joshua isn't a small fight. They're both very good heavyweights. So is Dubois. So is Parker. It's just that none of them are on Usyk's level.

It's a shame that Usyk isn't 3 years younger and Itauma a few years older. It's going to take a big, fast, devastating puncher to challenge Usyk. I don't see another option for that kind of skill set and he's still years away, if he ever gets to that level.
Itauma is only 1.88m - not so big. Usyk is 1.91...

Fury was supposed to dominate. He was supposed to walk Usyk down and knock him out. Usyk is a master technician. He knows how to make adjustments.

Instead of backing up. He was able to back Fury up as the smaller man. What can one say other than Usyk is a very smart fighter with a very high ring IQ?

Hearn can’t stop peddling Joshua. It’s not about Joshua who was always a paper champion. Guy is gonna wind up a vegetable needing a tube to eat. Enough

I think Usyk’s superior in and out footwork and work rate made all the difference. Also, despite being 20lbs heavier and landing flush several times, Fury WASN’T able to hurt Usyk unlike the first fight.

Fury gave a good performance and really tried to win even in the final round. It wasn't enough.

It will always be a shame how he wasted most of his potential all those years he was out of the ring. Now he missed the boat and can't overcome a titan like Usyk anymore.

It was close, 8-4 was harsh.

No issue with Usyk getting it. I thought a draw.

I actually thought both looked older tonight. Usyk is slowing down but he is late 30s. He's only got a couple of fights left in him at best

Fury is younger but further gone. 2019-2020 Fury beats any version of Usyk but that's not there anymore.

From 38 to 48 George Foreman had 34 bouts . Usyk didn't look good but he isn't good. Tyson Fury didn't look good because he isn't good. Usyk beating a mentally damaged Anthony Joshua after he got knocked bout Andy Ruiz first isn't impressive. Usyk beating a damaged Daniel Dubois after Joe Joyce broke his eye socket and Kevin Lerena hurt his leg isn't impressive and Usyk beating Tyson Fury a 36 year old druggy who only "Good" win of his career game against a 40 year old Wladimir Klitschko and barely beat him isn't a impressive win for Usyk.

Usyk has competed against some of the best amateur boxers in the world before turning pro and winning the Gold medal. So the man knows how to fight.

So how anyone can compare him to a Deontay Wilder is both baffling and shocking? Wilder never had the type of amateur pedigree of an Oleksandr Usyk.

He was a sitting duck when Fury challenged him in those last two previous bouts. One he stood too erect, never moved, blocked, jabbed or boxed.

He was simply a one-handed fighter with very little to no boxing skill. Wilder was just your classic over achiever given his overall skill set.

The AI had it 118 - 112 in favor of Usyk so, No it wasn't close.

Fury came in with the Wilder 2 mindset but forgot his opponent was not Wilder. He certainly was more aggressive but couldn't hit with power shots to hurt Usyk. And Usyk, much like Ali, will take you into deeper waters in the second half of the fight and just summon his reserve energy to beat you on stamina, speed, and work rate.

I agree with your second comment though. I too saw a hint of Usyk showing his age here both on his face and his boxing. He may not be able to do many more fights at this level.
