I have always been a fan of Hurd but he sounds desperate for a big fight when he can't even get a "W" over an equally shopworn Rosario. He hasn't shown he can win at anything near the championship level.

Time to hang 'em up but if he's adamant about fighting he needs to get a couple wins to even be considered as an opponent for either Lara or Charlo.

Talking about the incident with the Charlos in 2021 and then the Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia press conference.

These PBC guys are stuck in the past. Probably because they don’t have much going on in the present.

Hurd wants Lara at 160, Danny Garcia lost to Lara at 160 this year so the only thing that makes sense is Garcia vs Hurd for the right to the nickname 'Swift', which neither now deserve anyway lol.

Always been a big Hurd fan and welcomed a fight against either Charlo brother years back. Hurd just didn't look the same against Rosario. More time spent on the back foot, less of that come forward pressure. That style typically has a shelf life, especially as you move up in weight classes.

Jermell? That name sounds familiar. Let me look in the history books.

When Hurd first started out, he was more of a boxer and would fight on the back foot. I think it was around the Galarza or Harrison fight that he switched things up to a volume punching, pressure fighter. After the J-Rock fight, he tried different approaches and none of them were all that effective. He's just shopworn at this point and can no longer boil down to 154.

Hurds best days are behind him , but he's still a fun fighter to watch.

Hurd burnt out quick because of his face first defense. He will loose to any of the Charlos at this point of his career even with their inactivity.
