I know there's not many that would be doing this in his 12th fight, not canelo, benavidez, plant and all the others.
So when Benavidez wanted the fight you blame Shields. Then magically Benevidez doesnt want the fight per your opinion. But "now" he is fighting Morrell. Make it make sense.

He was never scared of Morrell he is fighting him NOW that he has more fights. If anything he wouldn't want the fight now.

Why Benny does have the same power he had at 168 ???
Is that why he couldn’t put away an old and shopworn Gvodzyk

I don't blame anyone. It was the right decision, the guy had 4 fights the 5th been the first with Shields, so yes any world class trainer will care about his reputation and his pupile, it only took him two fights more to convince him that DMJ was ready for benavidez, why you're bringing this up is beyond me. Who cares? They're fighting now and that's what counts, Shields wanted to learn more about DMJ, and two fights later benavidez wanted to make some money, it's in the past. Do you think that by word fencing with me benavidez is going to have a better chance?

They both wont. He didn't even have power at 168.

You brough it up, claiming Benavidez didn't want to fight Morrell.
Any of them could win. You see Munguia lost to a guy with 4 KOs, so anyone can land a good punch, either Benavidez or Morell, nothing is set in stone.

Let’s have a wager. If the Monster beats Morrel in fashion, you hold your tongue on Boots until Aug, 2025 - I want to give Boots a chance to salvage his dwindling reputation.
If Morrel wins, Boots can get bent and I will joint you in your chastisement of him.

              Sounds fair?

Cause he didn’t KO rad? Only person that has KOd him is beterbiev. Morrell basically shut him out. Either way it really doesn’t matter because he doesn’t have to win by KO. You’ll see after this fight how special Morrell is. Everybody will. He chased benevidez up to 175 he wanted this fight when they were at 168 but Benny was ducking him

                    The countdown begins.

I read someplace that Munguia is looking at Caleb Plant as a comeback fight. Thoughts?

That’s a good scrap while it lasts.

Garfios and LAChargers seem like they are smoking crack together and then writing love posts about Morrell on here. Morrell is a good fighter. He's fought nobody. He got exposed by Hot Rod. Benavidez is going to hurt him in the 2nd half of the fight and make it clear he's the #1 contender at 175. Morrell will go on to have a good career.
