    Most people celebrate their birthdays with cake and candles, as well as some presents surrounded by loved ones. For David Benavidez, however, his 28th birthday was spent promoting his upcoming February 1 fight with David Morrell Jnr during a media workout in Miami which felt closer to a sparring session than a media event

    Morrell definitely getting in his head. By fight night, he'll be ready to burst! Getting frustrated and walking into heavy shots...

      What big shots?

      Like the one he got from GGG when GGG was in his prime and Benavidez was only 15.

      We really don't know how good Morrell is, cause he hasn't beaten anyone. It's like Ennis looked phenomenal before facing Karen.

                I gotta agree, though it does seem like Benavidez is looking for extra motivation. Perhaps trying to coax Morrell into brawling?

                Ronnie Shields is the x-factor here, I think.

                  I don’t think so brotha morrel is a level above benevidez I see quite opposite happening. Morrel will piece him up till David gets too aggressive and gets stopped. Morrel is crazy if you look at him amateur career you’ll understand what I mean. Dude is special special
