It has a modern day Leonard Hagler appeal to it that will drag in a lot of casuals and make a lot of money, these are two of the very best fighters in boxing and two of the highest profiles in the sport, its a spectacle, a shot at history and will sell big.

Crawford has become a huge joke. A guy who fights once a year is not someone I would spend my millions of dollars on if I were Turki. If Bud believes he can beat the Mexican superstar, why does he want so much money? It's an escape route to avoid the top guys in the current division he's in.

He wants so much money because he knows what the estimated pot is; there are a lot worse fights that get made than this one. he is going to avoid his division to fight a guy that would blow Bud's division away; that doesn't make sense, but money, history, and a real challenge which all combined motivates Crawford.

That doesn't impress me one bit. It's no different from an average guy in the street who says he would fight Mike Tyson if he's given $1 million. Crawford should be fighting Ortiz, Bohachuk, Murtazaliev, even Ennis is probably more meaningful.

crawford is far more skilled than charlo but charlo is closer to weight and charlo was way out of his element at 168.


crawford will be dog walked by canelo at 168. i cant see canelo really going lower than 164 if they even did a catchweight


crawford looked pretty average at 154 vs madrimov. i mean he won but barely. 2 of the judges had it 7-5.
