Congratulations to Bruno, knocked out a guy who hasn't been ko'd before, and whom Canelo didn't knock out.

With only a few knockouts on his record, so unexpected, but shows, with a well timed and accurate punch, can generate power.
Canelo carried this BUM. He never tried to KO him.

There's this term...."Taking a guy who's not supposed to stand a chance, for granted."

Morrison found this out vs Bentt
        Vlad vs Ross
        Vlad* vs Brewster 1
        Nonito vs Walters
        Hearns vs Barkley
        Gatti vs Manfredy
        Tyson vs Buster, of course
        I'm sure I'm forgetting some....

I can guarantee you JM dotted his I's and crossed his T's whenever he threw a punch vs Nelo.
A guy will fight a known threat differently than a supposed stay busy fight.
This KO loss is upset of the year for a reason.

Munguia fully lowered his hands in close distances to his opponent, a rookie mistake by an overconfident fighter. Any boxer can knock you out if you expose yourself like that, no matter how few KOs they may have. I like Munguia, but he will have to do some serious rebuilding to come back from this setback. Overrated or not he's always fun to see in the ring and he is also likeable. Back to the drawing board Jaime!

Agree 100%, except that with Brewster Wlad just spent all his bullets quickly and gassed out because of said medical issues. I doubt also that it was a stay busy fight, Brewster was known to be a hard challenge.

Carlos Baldomir's decision win over Zab Judah also stands out; I'm sure Judah didn't give a chance to Baldomir and thought it was an easy win, can't remember anyone giving Baldo a chance.

Loss to Canelo probably didn't hurt Munguia's value at all because it was fully expected, but this gotta hurt a LOT. Stay busy cherry pick mental lapse hit by lucky punch or not, this is going to make it hard for his promoter to try to sell him now as a future star.
