It depends on how long he stays in the game. No matter what, PBF would be the favorite to win in any of the proposed that most fans mention, currently. It's the bouts that aren't even thought of yet that will give him the trouble. Future prospects who would have the opportunity to catch him off guard when father time rear his head. Mosley, Pac, and Cotto at this point would get dissected in the ring. Paul Williams would be a fight PBF could retire on, especially if he gets that MW title and holds on to it. Remember, it's not like Floyd has to fight til he's 50-0 to solidify his position, even in the eye of critics. From with I seen on this forum, if critics 'stick to the script', Floyd only have to fight two more fights and that would cement his legacy. Fight the victors of the Pac/Cotto - Mosley/Berto fight and call it a day. Margarito, at this point, is nothing more than a gatekeeper and probably would only get a rematch with Cotto. Something tells me though, critics would have schedule Floyd fight deep into 2013 as if he were Porter or Vic Ortiz if he kept winning even though Floyd is going to be 33yrs old in 4 months. My gut tells me Floyd has what it takes to go 4-0 against these 'tough' opponents everybody harps on. If Floyd were to get down to business like I know he could, in as little as 6 to 9 months this board wouldn't have anything to talk about. 43/44-0 is a full-fledged career and he sharp often to beat these guys we're talking about even Paul Williams.

why max kellerman was ridiculed for simply asking the question is ludicrous...i know lot of people like to disrespect max, like floyd seemed to do after the JMM fight...to be honest, thats the fight i want to see...i dont want to see my boy pac get outpointed by a flat-out better boxer in FMJ...i want to see floyd fight shane...
max is one of the best things boxing has going for it...an objective, knowledgeable, passionate boxing announcer...
IMO, kellerman IS boxing for the most part...Not that he doesnt have his faults, but hes solid...jim lampley needs to be there too...merchant i still love, but i could understand if you dont like him...
steward i like, but hes replaceable, and lennox needs to go -- sorry dude...
with that said, HBO NEEDS to hire B-HOP when he retires...the dude doesnt hold **** back, yet he's still knows whats up...id honestly pay for a ****ty HBO PPV fight if max, lampley, and B-HOP were announcing that ****...
B-HOP aint an intellectual mo-fo, granted, but the dude would be great for HBO boxing...he needs to retire now and let lennox retire into oblivion, IMO...

He will stay undefeated in his prime, but like every other fighter he will fight for too long and eventually fight a fresher, younger, faster, stronger fighter while he's way past prime and no longer the current Floyd.
If he retires in 2-3 more fights(Pacquiao/Cotto and Mosley/Berto winners), he will retire undefeated. But the problem is will he come back for more after he's well over the hill.

There's got to be a reason he's never faced a tall, rangy (preferably) southpaw with a good jab like Williams or the late Forrest. However, it might just take someone like Alvarez to do it. Someone who's just seen as a stay busy fight rather than someone who's seen as having a good chance of beating him. A lot of greats have lost their respective 0s to guys who weren't expected to beat them.

Throw him in there with a prime Mike Tyson while you're at it.

so again, why doesn't he fight people of his own size? his best win at 147 was judah for god's sake
And you go from "fight someone his own size" to what was his best win at Welterweight?
You're so
Roy Jones use to say he's the best, why didn't he fight the best Cruiserweights out there? He has fought as high as Heavyweight? What's the matter Roy? can't fight guys your own size?
