You can guarantee if he loses tomorrow night, his team will blame it on the weight cut.

Lol Honestly, it’s a wonder how a guy who’s 6’1” makes the 126 limit. I wonder what Espinoza re-hydrates to. I’m 5’7”, medium build, and I’ve gotten down to 155 lbs in recent years — ripped to the point that you could see striations in my thighs and veins in my abs. I couldn’t imagine losing another 8 lbs and making welterweight. I know it’s different, the way fighters make weight, but still.

What did Robeisy blame it on?

Usually fighters always have an excuse. Injury or Personal problems. Wrong style, wrong game plan.

Family issues, his dad almost died.

I think the weight cut excuse will be valid if he loses. The dude looks more and more skeletal at that weight.

From what he's saying I think this may end up being Espinoza's last 126 match regardless of result. If he wins, he moves up wanting to be multi-division winner. If he loses, weight cut too hard and move up.

Valdez didn't even come close in the first fight and now there's all this talk about who he'll face after beating Navarrete?
