Ennis is now on the hook to explain himself and his statement to the media. Lets hope something or money changes his mind but if he doesn't defend his statements - or clarify them - that's the same as accepting the statements and accepting what people think of him. He needs to clear his name, ASAP. Unifying the welterweight does not include any superfights - Ennis vs Ortiz would have been a superfight! Come on Ennis - clear your name or accept public opinion as being 100% the truth. Don't shitcan your pride like that.

Ennis supposedly willing to fight Bud at 154, but is scared of Vergil who got dropped TWICE.

Lets hope the media or someone else isn't playing us to get an even higher gate turnout by creating some suspense, or that some communication was misconstrued, and the fight is almost set. Maybe that is wishful thinking. But so many people predicted this from Ennis and it is hard to overlook that. Now it is up to Ennis to prove everyone wrong - or accept a less than desirable moniker.Last edited by richardt; 11-30-2024, 09:18 PM.DClefthook likes this.

But don't think that you can make ray-sis jokes about others and then use the fact that you're a figgit so others don't make jokes back about you. It don't work that way son!DClefthook likes this.

For the record, NO, Jaron's people are not reading ****** conspiracy's that can be picked apart by a 3rd grader. I mean what the fu<k....these guys are smart, give them some credit!garfios likes this.

If he really didn't want to fight Ortiz Jr, many would've very disappointed, because this is the big name who's willing to fight him in future.
Boots has the gifts, the talent. Yes, still can work on a couple of things, but which fighter is flawless.
Basically saying he didn't know about any negotiations and stating "i will address if i'm staying at 147 or moving upto 154 at a later time"
The statement makes it worse for him. he explains nothing. If he didn't know, well now you know so make it?
His promoter has not helped even though Eddie said there are talks i could tell he didn't want Boots moving to 154 for Ortiz. Eddie also claims he would have had to vacate 147 belt, he and Boots need to clarify did IBF really say he would have to drop the belt just for having 1 fight at 154?
Why are you talking about i'll tell you later if i'm moving up, you either want the fight or not. Clearly Ortiz and Turki did.
Boots's rep is taking a big hit, Eddie also talking **** as usual he doesn't even want Boots to fight Ortiz.DClefthook likes this.
