Ennis is now on the hook to explain himself and his statement to the media. Lets hope something or money changes his mind but if he doesn't defend his statements - or clarify them - that's the same as accepting the statements and accepting what people think of him. He needs to clear his name, ASAP. Unifying the welterweight does not include any superfights - Ennis vs Ortiz would have been a superfight! Come on Ennis - clear your name or accept public opinion as being 100% the truth. Don't shitcan your pride like that.

I don’t think Boots feels the same way
Pulling the same stunt as he did with Bud
Ortiz accepting the fight has scorned his will
Hoping people realize that Bud ain’t avoiding this guy and stop the ducking bullchit that Boots’s fans have been chirping

Ennis supposedly willing to fight Bud at 154, but is scared of Vergil who got dropped TWICE.

Lets hope the media or someone else isn't playing us to get an even higher gate turnout by creating some suspense, or that some communication was misconstrued, and the fight is almost set. Maybe that is wishful thinking. But so many people predicted this from Ennis and it is hard to overlook that. Now it is up to Ennis to prove everyone wrong - or accept a less than desirable moniker.

I don't give a fuqk who you sleep with. If you're a man and like to stick other men's cho-cks into your mouth in the comfort of your own home then by all means do it. But don't think that you can make ray-sis jokes about others and then use the fact that you're a figgit so others don't make jokes back about you. It don't work that way son!

well, I would probably agree with you on that. If you can send the fire, then you gotta be able to handle the incoming........

What the fu<k is it with the PBC propaganda machine, why does it always default to race baiting victim-hood. Nobody involved in boxing gives two shyts about race or any color besides green.

For the record, NO, Jaron's people are not reading ****** conspiracy's that can be picked apart by a 3rd grader. I mean what the fu<k....these guys are smart, give them some credit!
See here's the deal Mr Fact-sy, if you're the type of person who doesn't see race in everything and are not a truly anti-black person then bless your heart and I'm not talking about you. I'm addressing the nerds who think they speak in morse code and spew anti black shyte all the time. If you know the sport then you know it's history based on the theory of white (good) vs black (evil). Some of these clowns that post on this site just say anti black shyte all the time without even know why their doing it. That's why I'm here my friend.

Don't worry Mr T this fight will happen. It just won't happen in Saudi for short money while both are not at their best. This would have been Boot's first fight at 154 and this would have been Virgil's next fight after getting dropped twice and 'losing' to Bohachuk. His team knew he aint ready for Boots. Expect this fight to happen in 2026 in Vegas on Amazon prime!

If he really didn't want to fight Ortiz Jr, many would've very disappointed, because this is the big name who's willing to fight him in future.

Boots has the gifts, the talent. Yes, still can work on a couple of things, but which fighter is flawless.
He wrote a post on twitter.
Basically saying he didn't know about any negotiations and stating "i will address if i'm staying at 147 or moving upto 154 at a later time"

The statement makes it worse for him. he explains nothing. If he didn't know, well now you know so make it?

His promoter has not helped even though Eddie said there are talks i could tell he didn't want Boots moving to 154 for Ortiz. Eddie also claims he would have had to vacate 147 belt, he and Boots need to clarify did IBF really say he would have to drop the belt just for having 1 fight at 154?

Why are you talking about i'll tell you later if i'm moving up, you either want the fight or not. Clearly Ortiz and Turki did.

Boots's rep is taking a big hit, Eddie also talking **** as usual he doesn't even want Boots to fight Ortiz.

The way the world is set up as far as race is just so comical to me. It's so much anti-blackness out here that in most cultures it's just normalized. Whiteness is considered good and blackness is evil. Hollywood and the US media are to be blamed for this. The garbage they have been pushing around the world has everyone treating white as if you're touched by an Angel and treating black as you're disgusting filth. You can be an impoverished child growing up in the slums of The Phillipines or ****ladesh and have watched enough Hollywood movies to think you are superior to blacks but inferior to whites. You can be an illiterate illegal immigrant from Central America that snuck into America and think you are better than black Americans. Hell you can even be an African from the Congo that worship whites and think other blacks are evil. Ghey dudes are no different. You can be at a ghey orgy with a cho-ck in your azz and one in your mouth and still think you are more manly than any black dude out there. It is a sickness indeed, but........
