The biggest issue about this making Boots look like a fraud is that he HIMSELF was the one talking about willing to take anyone at 154 and that 147 is starting to get hard to cut to and will go to 154 for big fights, then poof, no to 154 for Ortiz because he still wants to try to go undisputed at 147.

If after the Karen 2 fight Boots was more like "154 is nice but I really want to attempt to go undisputed at 147 or atleast try for unification before considering it", people won't be mocking him as much right now.

I quoted the article, and all a person has to do in order to see the obviously true narrative is to look at Boot's comp over his career, how he ducked Bud and how Hearn refused to pay another beltholder who poses a threat in order to let Ennis unify.

I like Ennis as far as his style and talent. I want him to fulfill the hype. But so far he has done nothing, he has fought no real threat and according to this article, he isn't keen on fighting Ortiz.
