no, because this was the most profitable outcome for them. Tyson KO's jake then the jake money train is over. if Jake KO's tyson then the public will hate him for knocking out a geriatric legend. a boring decision "win" where nobody did anything is actually the best way for them to milk further Paul fights on Netflix.

Crazy how many posts and vids ive seen people claiming Tyson pulled back from punching him, from delusional idiots shows you how over hyped Tysons name is.never has there been a boxer so over hyped. These idiots are literally online claiming where was training Tyson lmao training tyson was 20 second videos to get you all hyped
      ^THIS^

The casual public fanbase 'Before the fight' - "Tyson is gonna crush KO Jake Paul cold!"

The casual public fanbase 'After the fight' - "Fake fight. These guys were acting. Tyson could have KO'd Jake at any time".

The casuals are often talking about scripted fights and how boxing is fake like WWE wresting. "Why didn't he just hit him with an uppercut? It's so easy. Mike didn't even throw an uppercut. We we musta been duped!" Even the dumb a s s e s on this site can't understand why fighters don't just walk down their opponents and KO them. I doubt 99% of these guys even understand boxing or have been in a street fight to even have a sense of what it's like.

He was paid 20 million to lose a fight whether scripted or not
Paul paid for the excitement of people freaking out at the loss
His stock rises and yeah throw in he made 40 million minimum just for fight
Imo that was the whole script
        Both got what they wanted

          Scripted? Nah. Pre-determined? Mostly.

OF COURSE it was scripted. But who cares? It was free, and there was a solid undercard that was paid very well.

Jake and Mike have been good friends for years. They came up with this idea to give Mike one last big payday so he wont ever have to worry about anything for the rest of his life. Tyson has several health issues. The fight was clearly scripted to make Tyson look like he had a shot in the first few rounds, and for him to seem to have some small chance. Paul could have obviously stopped him easily after the first two rounds, he was pulling his punches and cuffing.

The fight was just the WWE on Netflix. They promoted it well and Mike got one more moment in front of an adoring crowd, he got 20 million and he acted the part well.

Kudos to Paul. No one got hurt and the undercard was ok. Only morons thought it was real to begin with.

Thats harder to pull of than simply dont hurt the other guy, try and fake really going at it and it would look like a cartoon.

Jake Paul is the white modern day reincarnation of Butch Lewis. Old heads know what I mean.

There must be a lawsuit floating around behind the scenes or something for MVP to be going hard on these public statements defending the legitimacy of the fight.

Initially I didn’t think it was rigged until the interviews with JPs mom and GF and how “scared” they were. Almost as if to say “of course it’s real, look how scared we are!!!” It was too much a narrative for me. Unnecessary what it was
