Joshua was not the Champion, coming into the fight he was a contender that was beaten. But as I reflected more on the fight, and overall Anthony Joshua's resume and significance within this Heavyweight era. I understood the case for Anthony Joshua being worthy of a immediate rematch against Daniel Dubois II'.
Right now, it most likely is a sound tactic to wait and see 'The conclusion of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Uysk II. In regards to Anthony Joshua's next move'.
Many people within the boxing community, seem not to be aware 'That Tyson Fury is potentially one loss and one fight away from being in a worst situation than Anthony Joshua. If Fury was to lose to Uysk again, and by stoppage. There is a debate and definitive case that Fury has lost his last three fights, because most honest boxing analyst know? That Francis Ngannou beat Tyson Fury in their 10 round fight'.
So, if Tyson Fury was to lose to Oleksandr Uysk II on December 22nd 2024 'Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury, would actually be a really good fight to make. The narrative and theme surrounding that match up, in my opinion? Would be very intriguing, but not because they are unblemished and unbeaten fighters. But because the fight would be a high jeopardy fight, where both fighters are fighting for their careers at top level'.
If Tyson Fury was to beat Oleksandr Uysk II 'Then Fury is under no obligation to fight Joshua. Tyson Fury should ether have the tribology fight with Oleksandr Uysk III, or fight Daniel Dubois if he not locked into fighting any other contender'.
Daniel Dubois seems like a front runner to me 'As a Champion and fighter stylistically. That is why personally? I think Anthony Joshua and his team, should really be taking this immediate rematch. But I do understand tactically, in terms of match making? Why they would wait for the conclusion of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Uysk II'.
Note: If Dubois was to take a voluntary defense, I just sense that Dubois could be beaten 'Stylistically unlike Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Although Dubois style is effective and action packed, he is actually not a complete fighter. We have all witnessed both Fury and Joshua, alter their tactics and styles on a fight by fight basis throughout their careers. Ether when they are fighting contenders, or attempting to avenge loses. And they have both won fights, while using varying styles'.
In comparison, overall as a fighter? I think Daniel Dubois is a front runner 'He was done against Joe Joyce by the mid rounds, regardless of the injury, Joyce was turning the fight around the more the fight progressed. And he was done against Oleksandr Uysk by the mid rounds. If his opponent's survive his aggression a power, in the first half of the fight. And they are also landing punches on Dubois, every-time he has been in that situation at top level he has been beaten. Jarrell Miller skill for skill is not a top level fighter, so that win really does prove his ability in this area of boxing at World or Elite level'.
The signs where there on display against Anthony Joshua 'Joshua on is worst night, round 2, round 3, round 4, round 5? Anthony Joshua was finding his way back into the fight. From a share physiological perspective, he was actually getting stronger round by round. Anthony Joshua uncharacteristically against Daniel Dubois, seemed to suddenly abandon his usual measured and very analytic approach to fighting. Joshua is measured before he launches his attacks'
Anthony Joshua against Daniel Dubois was not measured or very analytical, and that is why skill for skill 'He fought one of his worst ever professional boxing fights'. Joshua made unforced errors, and his usual solid boxing fundamentals were not on point'.
To conclude: In my opinion, Anthony Joshua for sure has the ability 'To take a immediate rematch with Daniel Dubois. And at the very least, put Dubois in a situation? Where he does not knocked-down Joshua in the opening rounds. In that type of skill for skill top level boxing fight, I believe Anthony Joshua still has the ability to systematically beat down Daniel Dubois'.
I am not here to discredit Daniel Dubois, his courage and determining to fight his way towards being the IBF World Heavyweight Champion has been a great story. And I am very content for Don Charles as his boxing coach, because? I rate Don Charles in the top-3 best boxing trainings within the UK, and I have rated him at this level for some time now.
But as a Heavyweight fighter and Champion, I don't think Daniel Dubois is a complete fighter 'Anywhere near to the level, that is needed to be a dominant Champion. And those type of fighters in my opinion, are there for the taking against a more complete Heavyweight fighter' etc.

Yesterday it was Parker who's the most deserving, today it's Wardly which makes sense in the uk & probably makes more money.
Dubois should take an easy touch before his mandatory against the Kabayel Bakolie winner.
Aj isn't only waiting for Fury to loose setting up the shot looser fight, really in his entitlement he's hoping Fury wins & gives the hypejob a voluntary.

I don't know with all the sophistry there is regarding proposed fight preparations these days, but back when the world functioned according to logic, one would train Dubois, and tell him to stay away from Zhang's wheel house. Realizing this would not be difficult, Dubois would pick his shots and be careful with his body placement, until Zhang could hardly take a step forwards.
Zhang more deserving than parker too, as Parker has been.up and down throughout his career and only seems to be coming good now.Last edited by hugh grant; 10-31-2024, 07:14 AM.billeau2 likes this.

Parker is a better trained, better conditioned far more experienced and accomplished fighter now.
Joshua should have fought Zhang but figured he could intimidate Doobie. Zhang and Parker are there if Joshy wants a crack. Same for Doobie.billeau2 likes this.
