It's good to read of your story and dedication, Kolbeinn. You are a winner and have a new fan here in the USA.

Cool story. Best of luck to him.

But there is at least one woman pro boxer from Iceland , she’s more of a “journeywoman” I think her record was 8-5 or something like that.

Can’t remember her name, but she fought on the Callum Walsh- Runowski card back in September

Good catch. Hadn't realized that. We adjusted the text accordingly.

Great story. Instead of boxing being a route out of poverty, for this poor guy it seems to be a route into poverty because he is spending a fortune just to get the chance to box. Like Robert Helenius he sounds like a guy that just loves the concept of being a pro boxer &, essentially, he is living his dream. Good luck to the man & I'd love to see him in the UK, maybe fighting Chisora?

I would also love to know more about his experiences in Detroit, which, yeah, probably is cheap to stay. What did everyone think of this Skandi guy wandering around Detroit saying what? 'I'm a boxer' 'Yeah, that figures, all yo white dudes are either boxers or rappers'.

Good article. Nice to read something different than the toxic comments each boxer passing against others.

"...several hundred rounds he has amassed over the years working with Robert Helenius"

                  Sorry to hear that.

Should stayed with your first comment at 7:15. It was decent and respectful. This latter post truly shows what colour you are.
