It's time, champ. That was a fun fight against a good opponent you gave us today, but you're not at the championship level anymore. You won two world titles, you fought great competition, you cashed some good checks. Thanks for the memories.

Yeah he is done! It's time for him to drive off into the sunset. He had one Hell of a run though. At this stage of his career. he has nothing left to prove because he left all of himself in the ring every time. So good luck champ in all your future endeavors! Also, thanks for the many years you've provided us boxing fans with entertainment

I think he can still get a few more wins against decent opponents, just not other slick fighters. Props to him for being a gracious loser.

I know it won't happen, but I would love if Prograis/Matias found itself on a Riyadh card. I still think those two could produce a magical bout.

Under normal circumstances I would tend to agree with you but Prograis is a ruined fighter now. Both his reflexes and reaction time are a split second slower now.

He has been dropped a total of four times in his past three previous fights and has had trouble getting his punches off. Which are tell-tale signs of an aging fighter.

Moreover, he injured both his ankle and knee in this fight and likewise, he even admitted that he got tired and winded in those championship rounds.

In this case, I must side on the err of caution for both his well-being and health sake by saying that it is time for him to retire. He doesn't have to be a gate-keeper for these young, up and coming fighters.

As I watched the fight in Prograis you seen flashes of what use to be a good solid fighter, but the longer you watched you could see how finished he is and has become. Absolutely no inside fighting to make a difference, no wicked body shots he could not take control and his legs and chin seem very suspect at this point so enjoy your wealth, family and life, keep it moving, it's over!

Agreed, this is the type of fighters Prograis looks good against.

He looked like he still had something in the first half then he got fatigued and his legs started falling apart on him. Best to hang em up now.
