Just your typical moan from me

I love what the Saudis have done but in addition to Americans no longer having balls I wonder if its already taking its tole on the sport.

I look at the schedule, err. I just flat out ignore wanting to see any American in big fights cause none of them have any balls. When was the last time maybe as far back as Ward fighting Kovalev? What was that, 10 yrs back already?

Are we running out of big fights? I am trying to rack my brains but I can't think of too many left I'd even care for or maybe the schedule has just sickened me to the point my brains just shut down.

    The schedule is depressing me.
Navarette vs Valdez rematch WHY? Maybe I am misremembering but I recall Navarette beating the absolute hell out of him with just one hand.
Tank vs Roach - Who buys this ****?
Tyson vs Jake Paul, pass me a bucket.
    Boots vs Karen rematch
    Adam Azim vs that numpty
Anthony Yarde vs Ralfs Vilcans - Why can't he fight some in between? He is either fighting an elite Eastern European monster and comes up short or fights the man from Del Monte. Why can't we get him in with someone on his level like say a Buatsi or even a Willy Hutchinson?
William Zepeda vs Tevin Farmer? A couple of years back, sign me up. Now, no.
Johnny Fisher vs Dave Allen what is the point when Allen won't even train for the fight?

Even the 'good fights' Catterall vs Prograis, no interest. I probably won't even stream that.
Sunny Edwards vs Galal Yafai = May as well just watch two chicks having a pillow fight

The only juicy fight I see is is Madrimov vs Bohachuk but really it should be the co-main of Crawford vs Ortiz

Yarde's career is so frustrating. He has the worst opponent selection for fighters who are considered "world class". I used to believe that Queensberry was actively protecting him so they could build him into a star, but he's changed promoters and it's the same shxt.

While I don't want to see Nava/Valdez 2, Valdez did perform better vs. Wilson (their common opponent). Nava has also struggled in 3 of his last 4 fights. It isn't out of the realm of possibility that Valdez wins the rematch.

    I'm not interested in Zepeda/Farmer, but I do like CBS/Ramirez and Barboza/Ramirez.

I think the Tszyu fight this weekend will be entertaining.

I've just learned to take the good with the bad. I won't waste time/energy complaining anymore about everything that isn't happening.

Navarette vs Valdez is happening because Arum wants to resurrect Emmanuel's career without having to start from scratch again.
Don't know who Nava's manager is, but all they went after after his big win with Dogboe have been leftovers. People were wondering
when he's going to be in big fights. Valdez performance with Shakur was abysmal. So why not Stevenson, who called out everybody?
Fight with Stevenson never materialize, then Nava got beat by a guy nobody has heard of. I thought, that's what you get for waiting too
damn long. At least getting beat by Shakur won't be any worse than getting beat by someone who hasn't made a name.

For many of us it is quite the dilemma to support anything the Saudis do. But just like Don King used to put on these really really great cards, the Saudis seem to understand you need to give a little bit to build a base. As of today, I haven't checked today... If I want to rewatch the Bivol Beterbiev fight I cannot do so on YouTube.

How is a fan base in America going to be built when a fan cannot even watch the fight after people have paid to watch it? How are people going to get to know the fighters, connect with them? Social media is great but there has to be a vehicle where you give people access and the greed is just too great these days.

So we are left with the unpleasant stench of the Saudis who do understand the need to give good to get good.

His Excellency (buddy gave me enough good fights already for me to call him that) put up the full fight in 4k on his youtube channel a day after the fight which is unheard of (so is intentionally losing millions to put on an undisputed fight with a half decent undercard but he does it and puts on a concert, fireworks show and gives away a car)

I now follow his youtube account as he put up Usyk/Fury in 4k a week after that fight as well

Turki put it up yesterday I think. It's a ponder innit? We know he's basically trying to whitewash the Saudi tyranny (and likely launder a few $$$ while he's about it) but there's no doubt they're getting some of the biggest fights made also

What an abysmal lineup. No wonder I've bene hardly following the sport as of late.

Americans fighters still care more about protecting their 0 than anything else.

Oh well, better fighters will rise up from other countries. Let Tank and the rest have their biannual mismatches
