Embarrassing. All three cards were reasonable.

Title should say Team Bivol files protest... Bivol himself wouldn't go that low and frankly he knows what happened more than anybody else ...

Now, never mind that, you can have a fight that all 12 rounds are close, practically even, and score every round for the same guy if you slightly prefer his work, therefore, you'd score a fight that was close 120-108, and the score would be fine. People look too much into scorecards to determine how close a fight was. As stated, a fight scored 120-108, could, in theory, be a closely contested fight. P.S. Stop crying Hearn, your boy lost. No sanctioning organization is going to overturn a close decision. Pat English is an ambulance chaser. He knows his chances of overturning the decision is futile. But, if he can suck money from a plaintiff to enrich himself, he will.
Turki said he would stage a rematch. Bivol and Company, stop throwing away good money of such a foolish effort to change the decision with an ambulance chaser who has zero chance to accomplish reversing the decision. Too many boxers fall for hiring Pat English and once the bills start coming, which is his only objective, they will realize that they were scammed.
Haney will find the same result. I implore any boxer who falls for the Pat English trap to require English to take the case on a contingency basis ( this means the attorney will only get paid if he wins the case) then watch how fast he declines. That is the only way you will realize you’re being scammed.
If there is a clear case of breach of contract, fraud, violation of the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act, or malfeasance by a manager, promoter, or sanctioning organization, then the attorney should be delighted to accept not more than 30% of any financial gain on a contingency basis only.
No contingency? Run!!! Pat English has 0% chance of overturning a close decision. Zero!!!Last edited by Phase III; 10-17-2024, 01:01 PM.
