Manny is a no-brainer. Porter and Bute are absolutely not HOF guys. Mikey has a case:
126: Ring/WBO (missed weight on his only defense, moved up)
130: WBO (1 successful defense, moved up)
135: WBC/IBF (1 successful WBC defense in the unification, moved up)
140: TBRB/Lineal/IBF (moved back down before making a defense)
147: got dominated in his IBF title challenge against Spence

    Notable wins:
    Mauricio Pastrana (old, washed)
    Orlando Salido (TD)
Juan Manuel Lopez (old but still pretty good)
    Rocky Martinez
    Dejan Zlaticanin
    Adrien Broner
    Sergey Lipinets
    Robert Easter Jr
    Jessie Vargas

    Losses:
    Errol Spence Jr
    Sandor Martin

Mikey I think should be in the HOF, but he still fell short of what he should've been. Too much inactivity, and he should've fought Lomachenko instead of Spence.

      Shawn Porter and Lucian Bute?

Let's just cancel the HOF. There is literally no point in having it any more if these are the level of fighters that are being inducted.

Edit - I see they've only been added to the ballot. Not for induction. Thank fuck.

I'm a Shawn Porter fan. I don't think he makes the Hall, or should. Solid career.. entertaining style... Lost to Thurman, Brook, Spence and Crawford, while nabbing wins against Ugas and Danny Garcia..

Bute is laughable. I like Porter but he wouldn’t get the nod from me either. Mikey would be a nah from me too, had the talent but lacked the application.

          Pacquiao is an unquestionable yes.

He's definitely not a HOF guy. He did beat more than just Danny G and Ugas, though. Julio Diaz, Paulie, Berto, Broner, Alexander, etc. He had a very good career.

But it's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Very Good.

I bet Mikey gets in. The Ring and WBO belts at 126, a belt at 130, unified at 135, TBRB/IBF at 140 is a much more honest "4 division titlist" claim than, say, Broner or Leo Santa Cruz or even Kazuto Ioka (two of Ioka's divisional titles were WBA "Regular" belts that got upgraded to full titles when the Super champ vacated).

Only Pacquiao is HOF. None of Shawn Porter Lucian Bute and Mikey Garcia are hall of fame. It's ridiculous how boxing hall of fame have lost it's significance since every decent boxer gets in. Basically hall of fame is meaningless.

They gotta start making inductions once every 5 years.
