Anything's possible, but he's been so hugely disappointing when facing motivated opponents that I can't see him being anything more than a boxing footnote. Would like to see him face Joyce anyway. One of them would come out of it slightly more credible. Yoka winning would mean he has a big-name scalp on his record. Joyce winning would give him some revenge for the Gold medal he was scammed out of.

Of the 3 Yoka is certainly the least talented. Audley was an exceptional amateur & that is where he should've stayed. His style was, like, fencing with gloves, which was great for the Olympics & was never going to translate well. Tyrell had a lot of 'lifestyle' issues but, essentially, he ran into a prime Mike Tyson. I liked Tyrell but to beat that Tyson he would've needed to be exceptional & he wasn't. I remember him giving Ridd1ck Bowe a lot of hard work, but when he fought Lennox, Lennox destroyed him.

Audely just never had great punch resistance either. He was getting iced at domestic level and his lone world title shot he just totally froze against David haye and was a lamb to the slaughter. Turned pro aswell at like like 31. Not a fan of guys turning over in there 30s

He just hasn't had that dog in him in these tough fights he's had and he also lacks something special like big power, speed Athletism etc. very run of the mill as a pro and when the fights get hard and he has to dig in he just hasn't got that side of him.

Yoka faced some names early in his career and blew through them: Rice, Allen, Dimitrenko, Duhaupas, etc. it was in the Hammer fight, however, where he showed me some red flags, he was clearly flustered by the Romanian's rough tactics.

I thought he was athletic and had some ability, he showed alot of heart to stay upright in that Bakole fight and go the distance. Martin really put a beating on him. I agree with Boxing2695that there's something lacking when Tony needs to bite down on his gum shield and show some nastiness. Rather than get spiteful in the ring, he seems to wilt. Perhaps that's just a lack of the PEDs....

Most guys that don't have the dog in them from early in their careers very rarely attain that attribute as time goes on. Can Yoka be the exception?
