Is there media blackout when it comes to PBC?

Media got nothing when it comes to negotiations going on inside PBC. And here we have non-PBC fighters like Haney and Lopez in the headlines. Which is not unusual for non-PBC topics.

Why is this? This is not cold war politics between US and Russia or China vs US where secrecy is of paramount importance. This is sports and entertainment FCOL.

Al Haymon doesn't talk to the media - PBC doesn't do negotiations in public. No interviews, no back-and-forth on social media with fighters, no arguing with promoters in public, etc.

Even the best boxing guys like Coppinger, Mannix, Iole, etc often find out news from PBC right as the press releases go out. They don't cooperate with the media at all - that's how they do things over there.

A lot of those boxing writers are a total joke and they only kiss the rear end of pbc. They're not interested in reporting real news

Been that way for many years. They've been able to keep everything secret away from prying eyes.
I'm curious to know who are being offered fights for Tank Davis, as one example.
What about now title-holder Carlos Adames? What names are they considering for his title defense?
How about the Charlo brothers? Surely they've been lured to come back and PBC sent them offers multiple times...
There's simply no stories from the media about what's going on unlike in none PBC platforms
where everything is kept wide open to the public to be scrutinized, criticized, attacked for lowball offers, who is ducking who...
And so on and so forth...

There is indeed serious imbalance in the news reporting of this boxing business. Fans only get to attack and criticize non-PBC enti/ties.

It does seem that way. Dan Rafael (and colleagues) gets to have a special chair during PBC press conferences, yet he's got nothing when it comes to ongoing negotiations in the PBC mystery house.
