It’s in that Mayweather-Pacquiao category now for me. I’d obviously still watch it but it’s so far from what it could’ve once been. I suspect it’ll be a massive occasion with a disappointing outcome.
If I were Dubois, I would be furious and ask myself if I could get a fair decision against AJ of the fight were to go the distance. It just seems Turkie is hell bent on putting money on fighters who have no desire to win because the money is already in the bank. What incentive does Fury have to train and give his best performance when he can already count the Saudi money in his bank account?
Is has become quite evident that Turkie is nothing but a fan who wants to see his (or should I say Warren, Hearn, and Brown’s) misguided fantasies come to fruition).
Now he talks about a boxing league. This Saudi sports whitewashing has a short future IMO. Turkie has given the keys to the chicken coup to 3 foxes who will do anything to fill their pockets with Saudi’s money knowing they have a sucker for a boss.
Best case scenario is AJ wins and Fury wins setting up a HUGE undisputed fight...two in a year. I cannot see AJ losing to DDD, but if he wins, a close fight between Fury and Usyk should make Usyk VERY worried. Usyk better might want to think about trying to KO Fury.
