I'll never know what this fans' obsession of Crawford/Canelo fight is all about.
Don't know the correlation of Crawford summarily dismantling Spence, who many
says he's not in his element because of the car crash, he's weight-drained, etc.
Crawford had to fight like Bivol to keep Canelo away from counterpunching.
Oh man, Crawford better be prepared for a good amount of devastation. It's not an easy fight.

Benavidez is still the guy who would give Canelo a good beating.
If you hate Canelo so much, it won't be Crawford to do the job for you.
It's a waste of time and resources. Crawford vs Tszyu or Ortiz would be better fights for fans.

I disagree because Bud has zero stoppages at 154. Fundoras long arms for defense and parrying. And his willingness to attack will negate any pressure Bud will bring . Bud will have some issues while Fundora is taking rounds . Spot light is on Bud .

Ortiz is just a name that does absolutely nothing for Crawford’s legacy because he doesn’t hold a major title at 154.
Had Ortiz been Fundora; Whom is the WBO Junior middleweight champion. Then Crawford wouldn’t so much as to hesitate in taking that fight in a heart beat.
You are right about Jaron “Boots Ennis however. He is ducking him. That is a fight that both himself and his team alike had all acknowledged that they were avoiding.
Oh really? That's exactly what I remember, but I don't think he's serious. TBH, I'm not against the fight. I actually want to see it. Let's see in the coming days if T Bud would actually go for it. But I'm 110% Bud is sitting it out and hope for gargantuan amount of offer for the Canelo fight, his escape route. I could be wrong.

I agree Canelo has nothing to gain by fighting Crawford and absolutely should fight benavidez, especially because Canelo is saying he can beat him .

What I meant was though it seems as if Canelo is entertaining the thought of fighting Crawford despite the size difference but he shoots down benavidez saying “ he only brings 20lb to the table “

Well I agree. If he does then I can’t blame him. It’s just the way it is.

After all, a fight with Saul Canelo Alvarez would be a career defining and life altering fight monetary wise.

Well Fundora has been both dropped and knocked the fuck out before by lesser known and lesser skilled opponents.

If it happened to him once then it can happen to him again. I am not saying that it will or won’t .

All I am saying is there is still the distinct possibility of it happening again because it has happened to him before.

I don't see why Canelo wouldn't take the fight. He's facing an older, aging Crawford who already showed he didn't look incredible at 154lbs. It would be a nice name to add to his resume and he makes a heck of a lot of money in the process. Crawford will too, so the loss won't hurt as bad.

Granted, I don't see this is a fight I'd ever wanted. It's just maybe the lack of superstars between the two that they can face outside of each other that makes these two gravitate towards facing each other if they want to get that bag.

What has changed? Maybe Crawford deciding to go after Fundora, which Haymon doesn't want, therefore Canelo (on Haymon's behalf) is just giving Turki false hopes to keep Crawford away from Fundora's belts.
Canelo is just trying to get some press , he's got a fight in a couple of weeks that no one is interested in.
