He is the WBO interim champion, he isn't ranked by them.

As for the WBC, he exchanged his WBC 147 title for a 154 pound final eliminator which he won (Madrimov was for the WBA title, WBO interim belt, and WBC eliminator).

Where is Spence, by the way? Has he retired? Why is Lewkowiz keeps insisting on Errol for Fundora? He may be waiting forever.

So have 15 other boxers. He can punch. Before the ko , he was putting a good beating on Mendoza. I do believe that Tszyu was on his was to knocking him out before the cut . The evidence was there. Fundora isn't an easy fight for anyone at 154. His size and reach can give anyone problems. I wasn't at all impressed by Crawford against Madrimov , he looked old and small to me. I'm starting to wonder if maybe boxing hasn't gone overboard in proclaiming Crawfords all time greatness. The next fight might clear that up for me , but as of today , I'm just not sure if Crawford really all that he's gotten credit for. Madrimov didn't impress me either. I need to watch some tape on him , but based on the Crawford fight , he looked about average to me. Crawford fought well in the last couple of rounds , he should have fought like that much earlier though. Age and inactivity are no ones friends.

I was thinking kind of similar thoughts as I was watching Crawford-Madrimov fight. I believe Crawford is suffering from long layoffs between fights which kind of makes him a part time boxer - almost like he is retiring and coming back after 12 months. I have seen this before over the years. When Kosyta Tszyu was active I used to watch all his fights. When he was a hungry young lion fighting often, he was a killing machine. Once he made some decent money and started fighting once a year, it was only a matter of time before a hungry your lion got him him. He lost his edge and was no longer motivated to train properly. Madrimov didn't impress either and I don't know that he will make a name for himself in the future either.

I think Mendozas been pretty damn strong looking and always a danger. I dont think Tzsxyu was going to get the KO. Can't say that cause he didn't. I called that outcome. Madrimov did impress me with his IQ. But I completely agree about Crawford. It's just age. He's a better boxer for sure. He probably figures Fundora out. but get this, Crawford needs to get in peoples heads and he does it well. His mother said she liked watching him fight the kids on the block and he always won. Thats just always been him people dont realize. But how scary can a 5'8 be to a dude who's 6'5, and you're kinda old? It's a pickum fight even though I favor Crawford 60-40 if he's in form.

He already has the WBA belt, what are you talking about?

Ortiz has a WBC interim strap. Fundora has the WBO and WBC straps.

So why the hell would Crawford fight Ortiz to gain an interim belt when he could fight Fundora to gain two more real titles?

Fundora has longer reach than Crawford and create matchup problems for him. Crawford should fight someone else. Fundora is not tomato can. He can fight. He uses his height and reach well.
Huh? Fundora is an inside fighter and doesn't use his reach much at all really. I can't recall his fight with Tszyu but this was the case previously.

I'd say there's a 50/50 chance that Bud vacates his strap just based on his recent comments. He's all in on that Canelo cash out

I'm not out here trying to tell him what's best for him and his family, but as a boxing fan, this is incredibly disappointing

he has probably, at best, a 5% chance at beating Canelo so that's called a cash out fight
