How it works in practice is the A side will win all the close rounds regardless if he's the champ or the challenger.
Great post. Bohachuk was the "champion" but not really. On a previous post, someone mentioned that when Turki talked about Crawford/Ortiz, the writing was on the wall. Bohachuk needed either a K.O or a lopsided win. He was not getting a close decision.

I think this was old BOB showing his displeasure with Manny plus Manny getting thrown on the Aussie BBQ for some good 'ole home cooking

Ortiz can't keep winning like this. Now they want him to fight somebody better than the guy he just beat with his face. I'm not a big Bochunk fan, that's the problem.

Turki declared it a draw and says no Bud unless they run it back before anything

Any mix of Crawford, Vergil, Fundora, Sergii, Tszyu is cool. Even Lubin.

The ref blew the call on the first knockdown - it clearly was one. How clumsy was the video review, stopping the fight for an extended time for an event that happened 4 rounds before? The second knockdown was clear as well. However both these rounds should have been scored 9-8 for Bohachuk - not 10-8 as they were, because Ortiz dominated those rounds. The resulting final scores (115-113. 116-113. 116-113 Ortiz) would have been much more in line with the action of the fight with Ortiz as clear winner.
