I think Bud basically promotes himself doesn't he, and then does a fight by fight basis working with whomever may represent the opponent.

You're right. And that's exactly why he's in the position he's in right now. He doesn't like his LOT but the other LOT has treated him like dirt. Smh

Well that’s garbage for a start. You’ve listed 13 fighters so going by PBC’s usual standard of fighting once per year he’d only get through half of those before he retired. Besides PBC don’t let any of their fighters fight the best until they’re either shot or due to retire.

Terence Crawford resigned with Top Rank on Sept 6, 2018. He subsequently fought Benevidez Jr, Kell Brook, Mean Machine, Shawn Porter and David I-be-sneezin on Dec 10, 2021. That's 3 fights in 3 years. What were you saying about PBC? Surely Haymon would've found him much more fights a WW because Bud would've been the cash cow, not Spence

thats where a lot of the big numbers can come from seems to me

if spence bud would have happened earlier maybe that could have sparked something for the winner if managed correctly after the big win when it should really have happened, this marinating avoiding crap is the bane of boxing yet fans still advocate for it saying oh the fight will be much bigger in 3 years just because floyd said it and made cash on the pac fight which ended up a a lame duck because it never happened when it should have happened, fights need to happen when the public have interest in it and are demanding it, eg like canelo benny should happen NOW not down the line sometime

Bud was fighting twice a year every year before covid hit. 2018 was horn and Benavidez. 2019 was khan and Mean Machine. Then covid hit in 2020.

Every top rank and matchroom fighter fights a minimum of twice a year.

only 2 pbc guys fight twice a year. Tank and Benavidez. Nobody else gets 2 dates. You either get 1 or none
