According to other sites Miller has lost in excess of 45lbs for this fight. So a 2 time convicted drug cheat in boxing and a couple of times in kick-boxing had lost a tonne of weight in the run up to the fight. Why is the fight still happening? why isn’t the boxing press remotely su****ious about this so far?

It’s criminal Miller is back on the world stage. It’s worse that despite the same pattern of behaviour nobody appears to be questioning this. So if he blasts Ruiz with over 100 punches a round and gives him brain damage I wonder if someone might pipe up then - after the event once the damage has been done.

Greedy promoters should never have given this clown a second chance let alone a third.

Miller has definitely lost weight since the Dubois fight which is a good sign, however Ruiz is too fast and wins a decision.

There was VADA testing for this fight. That’s at least something.

It is. Not sure how much faith I’d put in that with a multiple time convicted cheat that may only have been caught previously because he got his cycling wrong. Perhaps he’ll get it right this time around. Inclined to believe the likes of VADA etc only catch people who’ve made a mistake and a lot more who don’t slip through the net. But you’re right it’s better than nothing.

Alarm bells should be ringing when the likes of Miller loose that much weight in the run up to a fight. Just like they should ring when a near 300lb guy maintains an unbelievably high punch rate well into the fight. If his performance against Ruiz is leagues better than against Dubois in such a short space of time questions should be asked given his track record.

It's not Ruiz's fault that Miller tested positive for ped's, and it wasn't trace amounts, if I recall.

But if he's clean now, good, this is an interesting fight. A really top notch undercard, which they haven't had in many years in America. That's Turki's influence, money and knowledge of the top fighters.
