Give me a break. Bozy turned down a fight offer from Crawford when Boots was highly ranked in the WBO, and they chose to avoid him to go IBF instead. Then they waited for months after getting the IBF spot until Spence and Crawford were basically signed before they petitioned for a shot. Like 5 months of silence while Spence had no fight lined up, only to come out the week Spence said he was near to a deal with Bud. Then waited until Spence activated his rematch clause to request the shot vs Bud.

He's been avoiding top fighters for years now. He's got 32 fights and 29 KO's with only one of those coming against #9 ranked Villa, and zero in the top 5. That's what a padded record looks like.

If he actually wants the smoke, he'll be ringside for Crawford v Madrimov. Let's see if he shows, eh? Stanionis already said he'd fight Ennis. Why haven't they pursued that fight? Why haven't they called out Ortiz Jr or Tszyu? August 3 will tell all. I doubt Boots shows his face at the fight, and if he comes at all, and Bud shows out, he's gonna run like Spence did at the Porter fight. Everybody. Cleaned the entire division out. Guys who were ranked #1 by Ring ****zine. Ennis hasn’t beaten anyone. Avanesyan is probably the only top 10 guy he’s beaten in those 32 fights.

Saying Crawford should go back to 147 to fight Boots, is like saying Bam should go back to 112 to fight Olascuaga. It’s lunacy!

We all know 99% of fighters cant go up 5 weight classes and beat the best.
Its just a money grab. Let see how he does with Madrimov then the160 pound champion like Lara or Janibek, then if he beats those guys. Im all for it.

TC fans aka tank fans is pushing Inoue to move up and fight tank but they are saying TC vs canelo is a mismatch because of the weight difference?

A whole forum full of Canelo haters pissing on the Charlo fight because he was " too small ". Now someone who never fought above 147, came from 135, and is 3 inches shorter than Charlo is a reasonable matchup?

No one wants to see this ****. And Canelo probably won't take it anyway.

This is all Bud's way of staying relevant while being inactive and doing what he's done his whole career. Fight some undefeated fighter we don't know about and wait for a big payday. Can't forget the occasional leftovers he cleans up too.

His whole run at 147 was literally fighting damaged goods and letting everyone else fight each other. He's going to do the same at 154. Beat this no name Russian and claim he was some difficult fight. Then claim he's the greatest boxer ever
