There's no one at 147 to put on notice. Just move up already.

I'm planning to have an orgy with half of the main cast of Dune.

I figure I have just as good of a chance as Ennis does of being 4 division undisputed.

Would you have said that about Crawford when he was at 135 or 140? The reason Crawford is considered an ATG is because he’s unified 3 weight classes.

If you ask the typical casual fan to name the guys Crawford beat to unify the 140 division, you’ll hear crickets.
Boots is in the same shoes. 147 is not a stacked division so he can literally unify the division be end of 2025.

You know for a fact that unifying a division will give Boots the leverage to make more money and entice bigger names. This is boxing 101.

To give it even more context, Floyd had to fight Zab and Baldomir to get leverage and a shot at Oscar.

I don't see PBC giving their fighters to Ennis and Hearn. Hell, Barrios and Stanionis are not even fighting each other.
Don't see Norman fighting Ennis either.

Those three are all going to be hoping and waiting for a money fight with Manny, Teo, Ryan or Haney when they are eventually ready.

Ennis needs to accept that. He's not young anymore. Seems like lately 154 is the new 147. Plenty of fights up there. Go and get em.

Fighting once or twice a year isn't going to cut it ,if that's his ambition. Better get cracking Mr. Ennis. It's hard to believe that he's been a professional for eight years and, with his ability hasn't accomplished anything nearly commensurate with his potential. Ennis is like a super fast racecar that never goes to the track. He should have conquered at least two of those divisions by now and be well on his way in the third or fourth by now. Whoever runs his career has failed him. With his talent and ability , Boots should have already been a household name. Another cat that needs to get busy is David Morrell.

If the gets to the 4th division, so many things will shuffle by then and well before then. Best to work on the next 18 months. And then reevaluate. "The best laid plans of Mice and Men".
