Who are your favorite "ghost" international fighters?

I have wondered what is with these international fighters that you never before heard about them but suddenly, they are facing a big name in boxing; put on great performances and again they disappear and you never hear from them in a long time or never again.

Here is the list of the ones that impressed the most and that I wanted to continue to watch fight.
    • Brian Castano
    • Jack Catterall (Just rematch Taylor and won)
    • Jeremias Ponce
    • Sandor Martin

Alexander Frenkel - knocked out Enzo Maccarinelli in the UK then never fought again.

Castano was in the WSB and ended Dereveynchenko’s undefeated run in the tournament. Jack Catterall also put a one sided beat down on Ohara Davies back when people thought he was as good as he claimed.

Castaņo has had comeback to Manny Robles's gym two months ago, not sure when he will fight though, but it has been literally 2 years.

Is it just me or lately do these Argentine guys seem to lose all motivation to fight and stay active once they get a nice payday?

iirc the Argentinian peso is really weak so the dollar goes very far.

Sadly that seems to be the case with most of the current Argentinian boxers, if Castaņo decides to fight against opponent of his choosing in his next bout, whose to say he won't stay mostly inactive in the upcoming year or two.

Fernando "Puma" Martinez seems like a throwback fighter however.
