No, they came to an agreement.

How much did Ryan weigh in the ring? do you know for certain? He looked pretty well energized until he got dropped after being overly aggressive then just quit because he knew Tank was leagues above him.

It didn’t look like he weighed much tbh. I mean just look at him. The amount of time you have matters. You also can get to a point where it’s hard to put the weight back on right away like that. It’s what happened to De La Hoya. He was unable to put on much weight which is why he only came in at 147lbs in the ring.

Ryan Garcia really wanted the fight, so Tank took advantage and asked for all these stipulations. And Ry was just desperate to get it done.

It’s like when you get your first big job interview and because the money is better than anything you’ve had before, you foolishly agree to all the demands of the job and what you have to do in that job to make the money.

Desperation is the key for Ryan Garcia here. You’re right he agreed to it, and that was my take leading up to the fight, I basically said the same thing you said. But also, it has to be pointed out that Ryan Garcia wanted the fight way more than Tank did, and Tank took advantage of that desperation.

No what? Yes Ryan agreed to the handicap. What part is confusing you? You seem to be arguing that because Ryan agreed it doesn't mean it was a demand and a handicap?

Yes , Tank is better in all ways than Garcia hence there should of been no reason to bring Crack Head Garcia to the ring
If you a fan of the sport , can’t deny it from the photos I’ve seen unless they were shopped

The implication that it impacted the fight in any meaningful way, it didn't.

I had to double check before posting the thread and yes Ry is that skinny in every photo of the Tank fight.

But if it didn’t affect Ry, then why fight Mario Barrios at 140lbs with no weight stipulations and rehydration clause? Why do it for Ryan Garcia and not for Mario Barrios?

So if a rehydration clause did not impact the fight why did tank want one?

Tank asked for an advantage and got it, we have no idea what he weighed in the ring, we can clearly see it was alot more than Tank weighed. Maybe he thought Ryan looked too big in person I can only speculate but judging by his performance and how Ryan approached it I doubt it had any impact at all on the result, he still looked fast, came out aggressive just was unable to land anything major before getting cracked himself then folding up.
