Arum is just negotiating early. He wants no parts of a Pacquiao-Mosley fight and honestly doesn't want a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight except for the fact that it will generate a ton of money. Mosley said he would fight Pacquiao at 140 in response to the news that Cotto refused to go under 145 for the fight while Roach wanted 143. Immediately after that, Pac agrees to fight Cotto at 145 after all. If Mosley was really an option, why not fight him at a weight that would seem to give Pacquiao an advantage and put another hall of famer on his resume?

There's no doubt if they get Pac-Mosley made, they'll make Shane come down in weight. Shane will be more than happy to oblige.

Who the hell say Pacquiao is going to beat Cotto? People are taking as granted because they think Pacquiao is going to do the same thing he did to Diaz, De la Hoya, and Hatton. You can put all three next to each side and you cannot compare a boxer like Cotto. Remember very well Cotto still undefeated, just the questionable defeat against Margacheta, which everybody knows he use cast in his gloves. Now that I am talking about the girl Margacheata< What happened with his lawyers, that he said he had working in the case to get his license back> From the day one I said he won't get his license and number 2 the nasty girl Margacheata won’t fight either in other country, What happened? Everything I said remained in effect. One more thing Cotto will KO Pacquiao between 6-8 rounds, There is no way Pacquiao can resist the pressure of Cotto for 12 rounds. After Cotto beat Pacquiao, then Gayweather will announce again she will retire because there is nothing to prove, sure that ***** does not want to lose a fight.

Even with the speculation about Mosley being weight drained(although it would be his own doing since he said he would go to that weight), why not take the fight since your terms weren't being met? Pacquiao was going to make the same money either way, so why not take the fight at your more natural weight unless you're more afraid of the fighter at that lower weight?
Now that Arums talking about Mosley-Pacquiao fight after cotto, then i guess Manny will fight Mosley then even if it is 147lbs. It all depends on what the agreement will be made..
But I really doubt that Manny is afraid of fight Mosley at 140lbs weight. Remember it will be in his advantage at all. But as what i have said a while ago it will depend of what agreement they will meet up..
