THINGS THAT MAKES YOU GO HUMMMMM...

I thought most PBF NutHuggers agreed that Floyd walk around 147lbs when off training., then again, Mr. Bhopreign here is making a complete fool out of himself and is being constantly owned in this thread.

Once again, care to metion all those welters that PBF has defeated...
When did I say he beat a whole lot of welters?

      My rankings go as such.

      1. P Williams (cant get a fight ans has beaten Margarito)
      2. Cotto (beat Mosley, Clottey, Judah, Corley, fought Margarito and will face anyone.
      3. Mosley Champ but want face williams and prove hes the Champ
      4. Clottey- bad losses in his career- Cotto, Margarito, Baldomir all winable fights needs more heart.
      5. FLOYD- Until he fights a true WW again he may be the best boxer but its like ranking him against HW. This is my favorite fighter and he will probably beat all of these guys with te toughtest being P williams.

Margarito, Berto, Collazo are second tier fighters until they prove themselves.
Based on the fact that williams has a 80 inch reach...I would not let my fighter at welter fight him too on the way up...My fighter would have to be a Mosley or a Mayweather as far as, where he would be in his career. Beating a fighter like Williams or hearns at welter is simply a daunting task. Mosley would be foolish to fight him again after we saw what a bigger fighter can do to the speed of a mosley or Leoanrd, and Mayweather too if he ever risked it. Williams reach and jab, nullifies the reflexes and speed that these fast fighters have, and thus you have to have power, Williams has to be off of his game and low punch out put,,,or him to lose to this smaller men.

Mayweather simply weak. he talks all this noise and fights JMM. He talks aobut he fought hatton and Jmm cause they called him out,,well cotto, williams and mosley have all called him out, and margerito before he was found to be cheating...Did mayweather take any of these fights..Hell no.....

He fights safe fights, and is more interested in his 0 than risking it vs a true challenge like all other great fighters did..

This garbage about being in his 4th division..is just that. Almost every other great fighter has moved up and fought the best. Ray fought hagler at age 32 after 5 years out of the ring. Dlh fought numberous top fighters even Hopkins at 160, Mosley fougth winky, dlh, forrest, vargas...etc.. Robinson fought everyone almost, Jones ducked a lot of people, but he dominated at 175 and beat almost all the top challengers at that weight class.

No one, I mean no one has ever reigned at a division and simply NOT fought any of the top challengers..etc. this is a joke, and all mayweather nut huggers should take a look at what their hero is doing to boxing to these fighter who deserve a chance at him, like those before him gave him a chance.

That's the answer of every dumbass with no brains who always does what he is been told to do. You could enroll with the US Marines Corps and make a fine ass cadet.

            Carry on, recruit!

That is most ****** thing I have ever heard..lay off the crack pipe.

Your talking to a boxer, who has been in the weight making trenchs...not a couch boxer.

More natural is a figment. You sign a contract at a certain weight, if you make that weight that is what you are for that fight. You know the weight and the date, as a professional part of this is making contractual obligations. Not to hear ignorant fans offer excuses.

Now to directly address this post.

Shane is no more natural at 147 than mayweather is. Shane may be stronger and this may be what you mean, but weights etc is not always necessarily a good thing. Shane also moved up sooner. Thus he may be more COMFORTABLE at this weight.

The word natural is often misunderstood as many do not understand a lot about this. For example. Back when SRL fougth,,they weighed in the day of, thus they were actually at the welterweight limit the day off... Could not effectivly carb up etc..to increase weight by 15-20 pounds for the night of the fight as they do today. Mayweather probably always came into the ring early on at around 141-142, even though he weighed in the day before (as the rules allow) anywhere from 130-135 etc.. Thus Mayweather probably always was fighting as a welterweight actually and so -called naturally.

So save the excuses. Mayweather is/was the rightful man at Welter. He has shown tremendous skills and at 130-135 he beat some very very good fighters and his reflexes are things only seen once a generation. However, above 135-140 he has relied on cherry picking, marketing, and avoidence to propel and keep him n the spotlight and at the top. Unlike others who moved up and continue to fight best at the DIVISION THEY ARE IN... Floyd is avoiding true welters. This is simply a travestly. For those that are blind and ok this and say he has a 0, etc..I ask you to look back to one Shane Mosley. Shane once upon a time was consered best pound per pound in boxing. He had a record of 32-0 30 ko's. He brought it to his opponents, they knew after the fight they had been beaten up, unlike mayweather. He beat a top fight in his peak years and at a effective weight..DLH whether or not steroids was involved we will always debate that. However, lets go by the record book. At this point Mosley could have done what Mayweather is doing, play it safe and fight smaller fighters...However he fought bigger fighters, true welters and jr middles..and he lost. Thus he has no 0'

Now mayweather wants to say Mosley has 5 losses.. if he thought about what he was saying he would have kep his mouth shut. Mayweather would not have fought forrest...too big. Mayweather asked for the winky wright fight, when winky called his bluff, mayweather backed out of the fight...Cotto..Mayweather has avoided. The cotto fight IMO Mosley won. Either way you look at is, Mosley and Cotto fought a very good war,,,,..

So some one help me understand how mayweather and his fans can even begin to think it is ok, or good business what mayweather is doing. It is called cherrypicking..

Nah B, that ain't a tough one to come back at, I just don't see the point. You cool, but you have no objectivity when it comes to Floyd at all. You will twist things to protect Floyd at all costs. Depending on my mood I either find it sad, amusing or annoying. Tonight I'm finding it amusing! although I do gotta say that you looking up where I live is still a bit disturbing.

Statesville is a small city. Unless you have been here there really isn't a reason for you to have heard of it. It ain't no thing though. Where is your family in NC and who is your cousin (we talking basketball?), Some of my boys down here are huge UNC fans, they would have heard of him Im sure.

Last time Floyd beat a WW was almost 3 years ago, the legendary Carlos Baldomir.

But Boxrec uses a point system that takes into account all of the boxer's fights, regardless of weight class. Floyd's resume is pretty good and he doesn't have any defeats (at least on paper,) so his point total is the highest in the division.
