Every fighter is 'manufactured'. How do you get a top quality guy except by working on them in the gym? Duran was a scary guy from nothing, the street-fighter from hell, but he still needed Ray Arcel to teach him head feints & how to use the jab. Ricardo Mayorga is probably the least 'manufactured' guy I can think of. He was, like Duran, a street-fighter, &, unlike Duran, he never really evolved into anything more. I enjoyed watching Mayorga but I don't think I'd want loads of guys like that in boxing. Sugar Shane, who had been 'manufactured' in the gym just undressed him.

Edwards started pretty well but his lack of power even tho he was landing clean on bam he just couldn't get his respect in that department and bam aswell as being very skilled is very physically strong it seems aswell and he was able to break Edwards down the more the fight went on. Edwards gave the fans a fan friendly fight because he was standing and fighting with bam but with his vision impaired there was not much more he could really do he couldn't evade the shots so he just had to have a tear up and with bam he was always gonna come up second best.Last edited by Boxing2695; 12-17-2023, 10:38 PM.

You gotta wonder if J.C.Martinez might fancy his chance's with Sunny now, I'd imagine the money in the UK would be pretty good!
