Honestly after watching a few replays, the first two rounds Ergashev was hitting a lot of Matias’s gloves. Straight up smokescreen assed fighter. Matias hurt that man bad.

Yeah I dont think bending at the waist and standing there motionless in front of Matias is a good technique. And although he was using that right arm for distance throughout the first round, and did well, refs dont let you just hold it out forever.

Nice quitjob by Ergashev. He gave everything he had in round 1, then started to wilt when Matias was still standing and coming forward and finally just quit.

I love Matias, but he'll get broken eventually. His style relies on punch resistance. We've seen this story before.

Oh not a bad idea, Subriel Matias fighting in Puerto Rico would bring a large fanbase to showtime. Question is who would fight considering Haney is already planning on moving to 147 (not sure why) and Lopez is a diva.

I think you're right, but who's going to break him?

The problem is, we KNOW how he gets beat. DON'T go to war with the guy.

Devin Haney is a stylistic nightmare for him.
