Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn on Working with Frank Warren on Dec. 23 Card: 'We'd Be Muppets If We Let That History Get in the Way'

The opportunity (read money) on Dec. 23 in Saudi Arabia was apparently too vast for British promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren to let their bad blood get in the way of an unprecedented collaboration.

I hope they manipulate me into watching these great fights. I'll be very disappointed if they don't.

It was good to see, the animus was largely stirred up by iFL TV chasing views. Boxing fans haven't benefited from their beef.

IFL and the rest of the UK boxing channels. Though IFL were the trail blazers, of course. To his credit, Tyson Fury is well aware of that particular game. He was being interviewed by one of the usual suspects after the Ngannou fight - can't remember who it was - and one of the questions began with: "I was talking to Eddie Hearn earlier ... "

Fury: "Shut up about Eddie Hearn. I know you want the clicks, but I've got nothing to say about him and I'm not interested in anything he has to say about me."

How is this card historic tho? I’m confused why it’s historic? What’s the history?

                    Exactly,
On paper nobody apart from Dubois & Miller are in 5050 fight's. If it was...
                    Wilder Aj,
                    Parker Wallin,
                    Sanchez Mak,
Then we'd be talking. But that wouldn't match a regular ufc ppv card which will have 5 or 6 fight's on that level with real belts on the line.

This is hopefully a step in the right direction.
