Maybe, but what's the use? It's not like he's going to fool somebody and reel in a whopper. I think he would have got him out if he could, he hit him flush.

Extremely boring fight. Matchroom should be pissed at Catterall. If he wants to be a star and a must-see fighter, he’s got to do a lot more than that.

Catteral is not a guy who really takes people out even when he has them in trouble he kinda just coasts and that was the problem in the Taylor fight even tho I thought he won but in the champions back yard you can't be coasting even if you think you're ahead. Even tonight against Linares he had him in hurt in the 6th but he was just abit too cautious about putting his foot on the gas.. but if you wanna be able to sell and get these big fights gotta be taking guys like Linares out. Him and Taylor is the fight to make likely at a catchweight

Yeah Romero did the same thing against a 50 year old and should of lost.

At least Catterall beat Linares by wider margins than Haney, and rocked his man instead of getting rocked by him and having to hug it out for the last couple rounds. I'm surprised that someone who got robbed by the judges won't go for it and try to keep it out of the judges hands though. Loma is in much the same boat. Both these guys, if they're not going to retire, need to try to stop their guys. Loma for sure should have finished Commey, and had a chance to finish Haney that he didn't take.

Who knows bro. I remember seeing him back maybe 4 years ago and him winning a close decision against Ohara Davies in a lacklustre fight which could’ve gone either way
