I think Floyd overall brings in more PPV buys also Mayweather speaks english much better then Manny so Floyd would be the one really selling the fight in the US. Even though Manny is a big star and has positive attributes when it comes to selling the fight worldwide I think he ends up with the short end.

This could be Manny's last fight, Mayweather is the biggest money fight by far so Manny could accept his biggest payday and shorter piece or make less fighting anyone else.

Also Arum owes Floyd money and as far as I know that litigation is ongoing, that will have to be settled beforehand but Floyd's people should be able to make such a thing work in their favor although Arum is pretty crafty (if Floyd's case is sound anyways and I have read that Arum has said he owes Floyd money).

They really should not be more then 10% apart (55-45) and probably less.

Then, I hear Mayweather vs. DLH was boring, people came on here and said, "Mayweather vs. DLH didn't help Floyd or the sport, people aren't gonna buy his next event", so happen Mayweather vs Hatton did 915K PPV. All I'm hearing is excuses.
Go to your room. Cant you see grown folks talking!

How can anyone think Floyd deserves 50-50 until he fights a legit, elite ww first. Give the smaller man more money for having the balls to challenge someone with advantages in height, weight, reach, etc. Floyd won't even fight Cotto who's practically the same size as him for fear of losing his 0.

This has nothing to do with the thread at hand. This is asking who is the bigger star and who brings in more cash. You may think it is wrong that Mayweather has this level of star power but the fact remains that it is reality that he does.

PAcquiao beating Cotto is meaningless, it's the revenue he generates that will influence the purse split

as things stand Mayweather is worth a substantial amount more than Manny and thus deserves the larger split

What are you talking about star power? Floyd is a star in this country but in terms of universal star power Manny is huge in Asia and they have something like 6 times the amount of people we do so even if only 1/2 of Asia support him that's more than we can match even if every American was a Floyd fan. In terms of star power Manny is the biggest star worldwide just not in America.
