I didn't see him throw a single right with bad intentions - and he surely knew that he couldn't win by decision in that place.Damn Wicked likes this.

Exactly. What would be the point of just dawdling around killing time like he did. He didn't even seem to be trying in his chance of a lifetime - unless they told him, "No KO punches, Robert, got it?" We're talking about gangster-run boxing here.

In a firefight...AJ doesnt throw enough punches to ward off Wilder....whereas Wilder has consecutively shown his one punch power. And while the shot that knocked out Helenius was a good one....it wasnt something that hasnt been seen before.
Having said that, I reckon that Wilder vs AJ fight will be an intriguing fight. The troubling thing is that Wilder seemingly dares not to fight any decent fighter since his consecutive knock out losses and he's just sitting and waiting to cash out with the AJ fight.Last edited by Boxviewer; 08-13-2023, 12:47 AM.shwaap likes this.

But for a lucky shot from Big Bob and it could easily have been AJ getting floored, so yeah 'life and death' as a metaphor for how easy it is to be losing and then not or winning and then...GOOM. lights out.
Now is that man enough for ya ?
