Beards are illegal in boxing, but it has nothing to do with them offering protection

commissions have gotten really lax about it over the last 10 years or so. The last fighter I saw forced to shave was Broner

As far as Boots, he's got great talent, speed and crushing power. I understand why will is avoided and I don't see the winner of Spence vs Crawford wanting to face him either.

I had Inoue by KO/ TKO between 8 and 10. I was wrong about the shot , I thought that it would be finished by body blow.
Robeisy is my DAWG but it's too early for him and Inoue, let him get the other three belts first and the experience that comes with it. Of course that's assuming that he can keep makung 126 and Inoue wants to move up again ( Why not ?). I was surprised when I saw Fulton and Inoue facing off before the fight started , Fulton looked comparatively huge next to El Monstro.

It is amazing how many people didn't recognize Monster for what he is. He smoked through my eyeball test the first time I saw him. He just checks ALL the boxes, and adds a couple of boxes that weren't even included in boxing aptitude tests until he came along. He spots AND exploits the smallest mistakes his opponent make seemingly instantaneously. It's really astonishing how mentally quick he is. Amazing how quick he processes and reacts to situations. I spotted him doing it in one of the first fights I saw him in. I've seen it many times since. His opponent will shift or alter his hand position ever so slightly and Naoya spots it and fires a pin-point accurate laser-beam. That makes them reluctant to do anything. It's not something they've ever encountered before. I felt kind of sorry for Fulton. He was being defensively responsible and Inoue kept hitting him with that rapier-like jab to the solar-plexuis and he knew better than to try to counter, but it didn't matter. Those were powerful jabs and they spelled the end of Fulton's courageous stand.. I wonder what might have happened had Fulton just gone down after the initial right hand, took his time, regrouped, recovered and continued, but I think it would have just postponed the inevitable. It was a good fight, I enjoyed it and I'd buy the rematch.
