What is important is that he did it the proper way through the proper channels.

Yes and I totally agree about the protection but I was explained from a local cornerman that applying tape first to the hand will cause a cast like wrap
I know rom having a cast that the gauze goes on before anything
I’m no pro to give my blessings but in my head it makes some kind of sense

but no. It doesn’t make it like a cast. He went the distance with Donaire in Japan with “cast stacking” but then also KO’d him in 2 in the same stadium with the same wrappings.

They didnt choose to bring it up sooner because they aren’t required to.
