Lomachenko is an extremely dangerous fight for Haney. Here's why.

Honestly? When I do a technical analysis, watching their fights and what they do, I see Lomachenko battering Haney. Countering that jab, beating away at the body, befuddling Haney with feints. Haney struggled way too much with Diaz and even in the Kambosos fights, was still getting hit in close and leaving himself open. I also rewatched a bit of the Lopez fight and for all the talk of Lopez taking away Lomachenko's angles and countering him... Lomachenko did a number on Lopez in the second half of that fight other than round 12.
What it comes down to for me: How does Haney keep Lomachenko off? How does he avoid the left hand that Diaz kept hitting him with? Haney is so hittable it's shocking. Does he think all he has to do is jab, pivot, and hold?
You're not lying about Haney being vulnerable in large doses vs underwhelming opponents.
    And theoretically, Loma should feast.
    Loma couldn't feast vs Ortiz.
When did he last feast on a ''top'' opponent.
(Loma is just the guy to expose a ''top'' guy)

The 2nd 1/2 of the Teo fight was ''good'' but it's not as if he shut Teo out.
It was very odd seeing Loma ''fight'' like that in the 1st 6 rds.

    Didn't see the Commey fight
    How did he look ?

I'm still seeing Haney UD W
    May the better man win

Loma is an extremely dangerous fight for anyone at 135 but he will be an easy work for haney. That's how great haney is.

The last person I'd expect to find in a Haney related thread

I personally think it's going to be a split decision in favor of Haney...

But god damn it's really hard to tell what will happen! I just don't know what version of Loma is going to show up. Loma has everything to lose, I think more than Haney. His dream is to be undisputed champion and he knows this is his last chance. If Haney loses, he will still be a champion one day at either 140 or 147. One more loss for Loma at this stage could possibly be retirement? I don't see someone like Loma accepting being a gatekeeper. I think these are important factors to consider.

I think Loma has enough to win some rounds.

Maybe I'm on the Haney hype, but I can't see Loma beating him at this stage... He needs to look like the Loma from 2-3 years ago to make this happen.

                I don’t doubt it
Here’s hoping that Loma takes Haney to school
Especially now that everyone thinks Haney is the best thing since sliced bread

I think Loma will pull some Jedi mind trick as his last hurrah
This is and will be his last chance for greatness

Haney doesn't register on my fighters to watch list
But Loma has looked less dynamic of late.

If Loma wins, we can expect EmpiresFailing to disappear.
                    Worth rooting for

Somebody already made a thread about Haneys lack of experience against southpaws. JoJo is only southpaw he has fought and he couldn't land his jab at all (10 landed in 12 rounds) and Loma is levels above Diaz. We all saw what happened when Joyce fought Zhang.
I haven't seen Loma-Ortiz but because of circumstances i wouldn't think too much about Lomas performance in it.
I hope we see Lomas hand raised
