therefore, hbo must give floyd 1 option... fight mosley!
Originally posted by Dave Rado View PostAt best it would probably take six months of negotiations to make the Pac-Mayweather fight, and it is not certain that it can be made at all, given that both Pac and Mayweather are insisting on a 60/40 split in their favour; and in the meantime Mayweather can fight Mosley in January, which would make the winner vs. the Pac-Cotto winner for all the marbles into the biggest fight since Leonard-Hearns. It is massively in Mayweather's commercial, legacy and every other sort of interests to fight Mosley in January followed by the Pac-Cotto winner after that.

[QUOTE=Pullcounter;6212880]floyd/mosley will do equal numbers with floyd/cotto. 1 million ppvers saw mosley call out floyd and saw floyd duck mosley.
[QUOTE]
That about sums it up for me. ONE MILLION PEOPLE saw HBO's episode of "Punk'd" with Mayweather being the victim and Mosley the antagonist. He is lucky HBO cut the interview show on this past weeknds broadcast (which was highly unusual).

Floyd's fans are RIDICULOUS. Why are so-called boxing fans more concerned about the maximum Floyd can make for a fight rather than seeing him make the most competitive fights? I mean damn he is NOT making it rain on his fans. How about seeing a fight that is even remotely competititve. The ONLY fans who think Manny has a chance against Floyd are Filipino's. That aint racist, thats just a fact. Manny has ZERO chance against Floyd. But NOBODY can say a fight with Mosley is a easy fight. So what Shane turned him down before. **** happens. Make the damn fight and stop worrying about how much money he makes. Remember he said he was coming back to STEAL some more money. Not EARN it.

Bottom line is the Pac fight wont get made. The Cotto fight won't get made. Arum aint letting his fighters take short money against anybody not named Dela Hoya. Manny has other options and so does Cotto. What is Floyd's option if he can't get either one because of negotiations? You think he is about to retire? Lemme guess, second fight with Oscar or Hatton....lol
