Fury's main strength is his elusiveness despite being a big guy, even for a HW standard. But now he's about to face someone smaller and more elusive. Fury can knock any HW because of his massive weight but not through raw power. Wilder, Chisora, and Whyte are quite static hence relatively easy for Usyk to land his big shot.
Therefore unless he lands clean it will be very difficult to catch Usyk. Very unlikely for Usyk to win by KO, but certainly he can land more clean shot than Fury and win by decision. If, and only if this fight ever happen, I would expect Fury to brawl and avoid Usyk land combination.

Fury is the guy with WBC belt who fought Chisora the third time. That way he officially ducked at least 10 guys better than Chisora that would have deserved a shot more.

      Just a reminder.
But, but, Chisora was ranked by Boxrec

      Actually he's still at #11... Fury v Chisora 4?

I celebrate Usyk. He accepted B-Side even if just to expose Fury. The point is, he accepted. Certain other fighters should be pressured by fans to do what

        Usyk
        Cryan
        Haney
        Rolly

        Have done.

I wish you were here before the 3rd fight with Wilder. The haters were writing the same thing you wrote here about Fury. When Wilder got destroyed, the same guys disappeared.
          I trust you’ll be here
I'll be here. I'm perfectly comfortable eating my own words when I'm wrong. Can't be right all the time. I don't like Fury, but smart money is on him if the fight actually happens. I just think he looks like a coward with all this, and I'm likely STILL going to think that even if he wins. And he's already proven to be a liar.

The history here is just not good for Fury. He's already claimed that he'd fight Joshua for free as long as it was also free to fans and that he doesn't care about money, but then he wants to make money a sticking point here. He's already asked for so much money that Usyk could fight for free and the fight would still lose money. He asks for a rematch clause and then makes that a sticking point.

If we're going to be consistent, how would that look if another fighter were doing it?

Fury again showing why he is the best mental warfare artist of all time

Usyk's team have done nothing but cry this entire time

Meanwhile Fury just crap talks then secures 70% by holding out to the last minute which he has the benefit of being able to do. fair money still $15-20m for Usyk...meanwhile Usyk's team have convinced themselves Fury doesn't want to fight them....actually Fury can fight any bum named Dave and still make great money so of course he wants the lion share for a UK fight

Both Usyk & Fury will be ready come fight night and the best man will win. No excuses from either side. Everything else is fluff.

Yet fans will internalize all this fluff and hold it against Fury like it matters...grow up.

We have a fight in less than 6 weeks. The biggest HW fight in 23 years. Stop being bitter nancys.

Joyce, Hunter, Ajagba, Makhmudov, Hrgovic, Bakole, Parker, Ruiz, Ortiz, Sanchez, Wallin, Gassiev, Demirezen, Kossobutskiy...it is safe to say all these guys are better than Fury`s last opponent.

Reminder: Fury knocks out every single opponent on Usyk's resume and the opponents who gave him his toughest fights last as long as Fury lets them.

                Excluding Joe Joyce

I respect the hell out of Usyk for accepting the 30% and also for his accomplishments in the ring. I felt from the very beginning in Fury's video when he was saying, "70/30 and every day he stalls its -1%" or whatever it his he said exactly, that he was trying to price himself out of having to accept a fight. I'm a Fury fan, but I am sick of all the shenanigan's involved with his fights. Sign the fkn contract and fight.

Those are all Fury’s theatricals. He did the same thing with Wilder but still fought him and destroyed him.
I’ll take Fury over Crawford anytime because despite the theatrics, Fury will still fight without wasting time.
Just to be clear, I’m not defending Fury because I want him to win. Nope. I’m rooting for Usyk but I’ve accepted the reality that Fury will beat him up. That size difference is too much

Big difference mentally between Wilder and Usyk in my opinion... I think Fury is going to come out the worse against Usyk. And I think there's some fundamental differences between what Fury was doing with Wilder and what he tried with Usyk.

I agree that smart money is on Fury, but if it happens, I'm going to be paying close attention to the weights.
